Great downtown hotel, the round hotel and pie-wedge rooms make for good views. We came with a large group and had a rough time checking in but the staff worked hard to sort it all out. We also had great breakfasts. The beds were super comfortable, and the rooms, while a little dated, were very comfortable.

This hotel gets a 5 star review purely because of the service from Christine. They were super friendly, welcoming and always accommodating when my partner and I had appetisers of an evening and they deserve a raise. We paid for a renovated king suite which was nice although could use improvements. Microwaves, cutlery and plates should be standard although credit to the staff we were given a microwave when requested and there is little ventilation and fans in the bathroom.

This hotel is my go to for the past 6 years multiple times per month and year! Staff are incredible, Don, Joyce , James and David are incredible! I love location and views of the River Vally!! If you get a chance to spend a little more and book floor 19+ and enjoy the VIP room a must. Food is great and easy to access downtown!

This place has a lovely view if the river valley, be sure to get a valley view room. We had the concierge level experience. Enjoyed wine and snacks for happy hour. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lounge has great cocktails and a wonderful view. Parking is a bit pricey. This is a gem in the heart of downtown edmonton.

It's a very nice hotel, close to downtown and apparently quite popular for conferences. My only problem, and everyone's else, was with the elevators. When it gets busy there's a huge lineup to get up. The elevator call light on the ground level it's very hard to see when it's on. I've seen the guests waiting for the elevator, like for a miracle to happen...

The place has seen better days. Aging hotels is not a problem usually but this place is not maintained or cared for.Cherry on top is in morning thinking to make coffee and find an old coffee pouch in the coffee maker. Housecleaning just never bothered to clean that prior to check in. TV remote is inside a sarcastically called Clean Box or whatever but remote itself still had orange residue which I assume is from chips or whatever. It was cheapest place to stay near convention centre but will avoid in the future.

Staff was mostly friendly. Comfortable rooms, no issues with AC/heating, and a very central location that made it easy to walk around. However, the wifi barely worked, and only worked for a few minutes a time. This did cause some difficulty when trying to book or plan things during our trip via the internet.

This was the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was amazing, clean and spacious. Hotel staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The location is great with an amazing view and easy access access to the city. The only thing that was a little disappointing was breakfast yet all and all okay.

We stayed in the standard junior suite at the chateau lacombe. The room was advertised to have a fridge. When we arrived the room did not have a fridge and we had a bunch of food to make lunches for a three day convention we were attending. I asked why we didn’t have a fridge and I was given two different stories. One was that they didn’t have any left and the other was that they had some break and were working on replenishing them. So to keep our food cold we had to use the ice machine and fill ziploc with ice. But 2 of the 3 ice machines were broken as well. Room was very run down and old feeling. We also had no turn down service. When I called the front desk to ask why, I was told we needed to request it. I was not informed of this at time of check in. The lady I spoke to said she would send someone to clean the room. So we went out to supper and when we returned they had just left towels some coffee and a couple garbage bags for us to do ourselves. My husband and I were not impressed. We won’t be returning to the chateau lacombe.

Dirty, old, visibly dirty furniture in room, few amenities, room didn’t get serviced, gym wasn’t clean and didn’t have mats- some equipment was busted. Was told breakfast was included but was charged anyway. It did not feel safe to walk in the area alone.
