Fantastic! My Scottish mother has been trying to find Scottish Butteries in Canada for almost 60 years, with no success. I brought her some from Elmvale Bakery and she loved them! They did a special low salt order for me. Amazing! I also tried the Apple fritters. Great! And they make the best sausage rolls and meat pies this side of the Atlantic. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Stopped in when I was riding the Simcoe County Loop Trail and got a pastry to enjoy and asked them to cut it in 3 so that I could share it with the group. It was a delicious blueberry strudel that wasn't overly sweet and was incredible flaky. Definitely a must stop on this ride.

Absolutely love their donuts. Some bakeries in the area spend all their time and efforts to make them bigger and ready for instagram...but they certainly aren't better. These are fantastic old school donuts. Quality ingredients, soft sweet and oh so yummy. The absolute best!

Got an AMAZING lemon custard cake (pie?) from this adorable bakeshop. It was delicious and everything else looked like it would be worth another trip in... so I'll be doing just that!!!

I bought a cherry pie for Easter and the dough was raw! We really couldn’t eat it. I told the baker a week later ! No response really ! Didn’t seem to care about my comment. I bought a few Nanaimo bars and she was happy to charge me (I sort of expected her to say sorry about the pie ) and give me the $2.40 on the house. Hmm won’t be going out of my way to go back.
