The onion rings are the best anywhere, deep fried onion rings, snake bites and fries are all done to a golden, crisp state of perfection! Their poutine is delicious and abundant with your choice of curds or mozzarella or a combination of the two! Pizza's are delicious and very reasonably priced. These owners care a lot about their business and their customer's satisfaction!

You never know where you can find the best breakfast. There are so many chains that have these big bright signs to attract you inside and you just pay too much for sub par food. And then there are places like La Gare or the station like some locals call it. Build inside the old train station in the hay days of loggers trains, this spot may be in the middle of nowhere for the typical city folk, but it is one to stop at when you're in the area. The place was full and food was amazing. Service was excellent and everyone was there with a smile. Peaking around the corner you have the bar section which looked cozy and full of history on all the walls. Worth checking out if you need to know how life was in Waltham back in the logging days.

Lovely home cooked meals. Literally feels like you are going home for supper. Everyone so friendly. Had my very first butterscotch pie and it was delicious!!!

First timers today....and the food was fantastic ! My eggs were perfect...kudos to the cook ! Husband's burger was extremely tasty, spiced just right and the gravy was delicious ! You have become our date " place !! And I must add

Truely a wonderful experience, friendly and accommodating staff and locals (yes locals made sure to stop by our table and say hi!)A one of a kind experience I'm sure cannot be matched. Amazing fries, great chicken tenders (as stated by a picky teenager)Highly recommended!
