It was my first time in the store to buy a camera for photo/video that is beginner-friendly. The staff, Anton, was super helpful and very patient to answer all of our questions. He's very knowledgeable and at the same time very easy to talk to and lets you take your time to think about buying the device or other questions we had in mind. This store has everything you need for this kind of technology plus a great service. Thank you so much!

I actually just purchased a new camera from this store a few hours ago and really wanted to write a review for these guys quickly! I already had a camera in mind when I went inside so I sort of knew what I wanted to get, the sales rep helped me today was Derek. He was an older and very nice gentleman. He answered all my questions patiently and was very knowledgeable. When I went into another store last week, the level of service I received was a lot less than what I got at KC today (also why I didn't make up my mind last week). I am feeling happy with my purchase today and ver glad I came here ☺️

Similar to other Kerrisdale Camera locations, the staff and management here are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is well stocked with the latest offerings from the major brands but has a selection of quality used equipment available as well. The manager is himself a very talented and experienced photographer. Highly recommended for any camera or film needs.

Didn’t end up buying anything but I greatly appreciate Paul helping me out and being understanding and considerate while I made a decision. Definitely check them out if you are looking for a camera and want good advise.

Kerrisdale Camera's Richmond store has time and time again delivered stellar service and their staff are brimming with knowledge and experience.Recently, I had purchased a used camera from another location only to find the battery was not an OEM. I came to the Richmond location in hopes they would sell me the OEM battery at a reduce rate but they instead offered to exchange it for free!Something that surprised me was they took the courtesy to ask if I had recieved my welcome package with the purchase of my camera from the other store. I was not aware of this and they helped save me hundreds of dollars with the coupons! They more than made up for a lesser experience at another location. There is no other place as deserving of a 5 star rating as this!

If I could rate it higher, I would. Paul and his team are extremely knowledgeable, super generous with their time and advice and provide tons of helpful information. I've been here several times for gear purchases, photo printing and just general photo advice, and the staff was always friendly, helpful and competent. I can't recommend them enough!Thanks to Paul and his team for all your help! :)

I get my film developed and scanned! And love the results so far. I like how quickly I get them back as well! Most staff are really friendly but there are some that can be a little more cold at times. But overall good experience =)

Had my film scanned and noticed that every photo had the same pattern of colored lines going down the middle in the exact same spot - looking exactly like the scan lines caused by dust or dirt in scanning equipment. Emailed the store and the manager replied telling me they believe it's a light leak from my camera. Went to pick up my negatives and was attended to by the manager. I mentioned about my email earlier and he said he'd already replied saying it was a light leak. I showed him the pictures again and how closely they resembled other pictures with scan lines. He still insisted it was a light leak and asked me to bring it to a repair shop. I had to ask him to look at the negatives himself and when he couldn't find any evidence of a leak, he finally offered to give me a re-scan.The re-scanned images had no scan lines at all. I would have brought my camera to the repair shop for what was obviously a scanner issue. I wonder if he even looked at my images before emailing me back asking to send it for repair.I have had good service here before with other staff but this experience left a bad taste.
