Barrie Public Library - Holly Library

Great place. They welcomed me when I wanted a different location to work than at home. One male member of staff that looked like he was very very loud and talked nonstop.

Love the newest branch, excellent kids area and very welcoming overall!

A wonderful new library with a calm atmosphere. I have visited with my grandson on numerous occasions. It is good for people of all ages!

Great place to spend some time with books, they do organize a lot of activities for kids and also a lot of options for kids to do apart from reading like coloring, magnetized toys, etc.

I have visited this branch a number of times. It is very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I was having an issue connecting to the internet on my macbook and they went out of their way to help me figure out the problem.

Visited this branch shortly after it opened. It is small, but it's nice. Very clean and organized. Friendly staff. The selection is what you would expect at a small branch.

Nice place, seems well-run with good staff. This place will appeal to you if you are frustrated with a lack of female authors, as they are put on spotlight shelves.Their best feature doubles as their worst though. You can take out a huge, crazy number of books at a time, but it leaves us with a lack of variety. Most of the books on the shelf are the last book in a series. From what I can tell, the idea isn't to walk in and browse, but to order ahead and put holds on books you want.It's small and new, but my hope is that they plan on cramming the shelves together a bit to make room for more books as new books flow in. Lack of variety is the biggest issue I see here.

One of my favourite places. I love books and being surrounded by them is a great feeling. The staff there is very friendly and helpful as they helped me with getting a library card, and books of certain topics.

This place is really nice, and has most of the books I'm looking for.Really helpful and nice staff also.
