Main Street Unionville Market

I was there several times as one of the vendors at the Farmers Market and Indoor Market selling the handmade sake chocolates. Since it’s a historical place and the old railway station is nicely preserved & renovated to become a museum, so this location attracts visitors and gives people the opportunity to understand how our forefathers used to live in this community. The Indoor Market was held inside the barn in autumn until Christmas. The barn is small but it’s decorated with stylish design. Staying inside was warm and comfortable. Market manager, Kim Kwan, is a nice lady, and so are other vendors. In the summertime, the market was held in the parking area outside the barn which was not an ideal location for my products as they could melt under sunshine in hot weather.

Great place to go with the family or your spouse. They have nice shops that abide by covid restrictions. There are a few trails around the lake and you can actually fish at the lake, which is a bonus if you are a fishing enthusiast living nearby

Hidden gem. Great for a nice walk with your family and furry friends. There's a nice park and trail to enjoy; followed by a cold coffee or tea or ice cream. Most shops have water bowls fur your fury family members. There's a farmers market for local produce, on Sunday mornings. Everyone is following covid rules. Only happy people that want a stoll should attend. If you're short on time, skip it.

Not up and running yet, checked both buildings- the red mill that is where the pin is, and walked up main st to check out the two gazebos. Nothing :( bummer!

They only open on the weekends during the Summer months. They had roughly 10 booths and half of them are food related vendors. Don't expect to come here and spend a couple of hours here. It is a small market for the locals. All the vendors I interact with takes debit or Credit Card. Everyone here are super friendly and you will have a great time during the visit. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours.

Major landmark in the area. A lot of businesses and restaurants. The variety has evolved over the years.

It is a very nice, friendly, but tiny place, only 6 or 7 stalls at the time we arrived (around noon). The smell of the sanitizer at the entrance was quite heavy and it lasted all day which made us very uncomfortable.

It was nice to drop by this Sunday Market while we made a visit to Main Street. I was expecting it to have more vendors and fresh produce as advertised. I guess they didn’t have a lot to see or buy due to the current Covid situation. Hopefully they can get more vendors to participate in the market and keep this annual Sunday Market event next year.

Not a big market but had what we were looking for. Has organic vegetables, micro greens, pretzel/breads, meats, cookies, sauce/spice/jam, honey stands. Overall very happy with what they had available.
