Brewpub had been going near two decades. And I'm still always excited to go. I can't recommend this place more!Our nacho's were served to us with the cheese visibly un-melted. Not sure how the cook AND the waitress missed this, but it wasn't enough to drag them down a star. Usually the food is perfect.

Beer was only okay, not terribly cold nor flavorful. Atmosphere was fun. I'll give it another go for sure.

What a great brew pub!We bought the big jugs and took beer home it was great value.The atmosphere and Decor in the pub are worth staying for and staff were very friendly and helpful

This hillside mall over the highway at Turner Road has a useful collection of businesses anchored by the Longwood brew pub, a Thrifty's grocery, and TD Canada Trust. When I take my dog to the Mahalo Vets on the Uplands side, I like to pick up coffee and a sandwich at the nearby Today cafe. My friend works at Boston Pizza and my cousin at the ambulance station. With a liquor store and pot shop down by Thrifty's, the parking lot is always busy -- we pedestrians have to stay on our toes.

What's not to love. Thrifty's, Boston pizza, liquor store, cannabis shop as well as an outdoor outfitter and especially the Longwood craft beer pub and restaurant - truly one of Nanaimo's - nay the islands best noshing spots. Great service, excellent beer and a delicious menu. If you are passing through and need supplies and a relaxing bite - Longwood station has what you need.
