Chapters - Red Deer

I used to love Chapters. Today I found 2 books I would have enjoyed, but after browsing through the store - I put them both back. I found a high % of the promoted books to be offensive. I left the store disgusted and don’t plan on coming back soon.

Needs way more cashiers. Had to wait in line for 15 minutes and even then the cashier was slow to process the transaction.Other than that it is very clean, pleasant atmosphere.

I bit of unique review but I am an author of the Courage to Change Journal and did an author signing event at this location. I loved the vibe of this location. The staff were so friendly and chatty. They were always about helping customers and one another. Difintely as store where they care for their customers. They are also love books, I even walked out with a recommendation from Stacie. Cannot wait to visit again sometime soon.

Went to Starbucks here. People working here are incredible. Love coming to Chapters to read, look at new things.

Huge shoutout to Stacie!! I came in a couple of days ago looking for a few manga vols for a gift, but nothing was in stock for what I needed. Stacie quickly suggested some new reads, and helped me find a new series which my friend loved!! She’s so informative and really sells a story so well. Also always a great experience at this chapters!

There are some great people here. Warren is such a kind man and if you ever need someone to talk to it seems as if he would chat with anyone at all. So kind. The kids section is fantastic. There are good books here and the voluspa candle selection is so good and I couldn't say I've smelled or seen higher quality candles. Chapters, so much of what you need readily available. This one seems very well managed!

It's a nice store.It's kept clean and well organized, staff are almost always really proactive with customer service with helping you find what your looking for and overall extremely friendly. Got a Starbucks if you wanna sip a coffee while you browse or test read.I do wish they would slow down the non-book stuff they sell a bit but that's a personal preference.

Excellent customer service, professional and kind, when helping you out. Very family friendly when searching for booms with the littles. We love shopping here.

I only went in to get a birthday card and found they have a pretty good selection. There were some different ones to choose from instead of the same ones I see all the time. I was able to find one I liked quickly.Check out was quick, and I was happy that the young guy asked me if I had a rewards card, which I had forgotten about.

I called customer service about points on my account that have disappeared. I hadn't used the account in years and was updating my account information when I noticed my points balance was at zero.I knew this was wrong! I called in to inquire! Lady says that there is no record of this or any points that I had that even had expired. She basically has called me a liar! I know I had points on my account. I am sincerely telling you the truth and would not even waist my time with this! It was around 6300 dating back to 2013. I had been saving them for a book I wanted to buy at the time.I admit that the last time I shopped at Chapters was in 2019! I truly don't understand what is happening and feel like Indigo has now RIPPED me off.I never even knew that points expire.I have lost faith in this company! The lady did not care at all and when I asked to speak with manager she gave me a condescending NO! Watch your points people there is something wrong with Plum rewards Program! Unbelievable! What has happened to your customer service Chapters !!!!Thank-you!
