Lyn did an amazing job with my wedding dress! She is so detail oriented and was even pickier than I was about getting it perfect. You could tell that she had years of experience which is invaluable when it comes to your wedding dress!

Lyn is easily the most knowledgeable seamstress I've ever had the pleasure of working with! I was referred to Lyn by Bon Bon Belle, the boutique from which I purchased my Essence of Australia wedding dress. Lyn was super responsive & scheduled all of my fittings (2) around my schedule & with my commute from Chicago in mind. My dress only needed a few alterations (hemming to match my 5'2 frame, and some work on the invisible netting & detachable sleeves). Each time I visited Lyn, she made me feel like a member of her family. She took such great care of me & the most important garment I've ever worn. When I picked up my dress a week before my wedding, I was even a little sad to say goodbye to Lyn! If you have the opportunity to work with her, you won't regret it!

Lyn was extremely helpful and quick at fixing a hoodie I had dropped off for a small ribbon repair. All the ladies that work there are extremely nice as well and I will be back to them when any clothes of mine need to be fixed up!

I cannot speak highly enough of Lyn. From the first time my mom and I met with her, we knew she was my lady for my wedding gown. My gown needed straps tightened, a slight hem, and a bustle. Lyn also suggested something I didn't know I wanted, but she took the belt I purchased and actually used part of the hemmed material to make it part of my dress! It looked like it was purchased that way! I had a few fittings as the bustle of my dress was fairly complicated, but Lyn was not going to stop until it was perfect without compromise. The bustle was strong and ended up being perfect! Lyn also used appliques from my mom's wedding dress (which she washed to turn it back to it's original color!) to add a personal touch to my veil. It was so perfect it made my mom cry happy tears. Lyn then even kept my dress and veil safely in her shop until the Friday before the wedding. Pricing is very fair and the quality is incredible. Lyn and team are incredible!!! I took my wedding dress here for alterations. Lyn is so knowledgeable at her craft; she always had the perfect ideas of how to fix or make certain parts of my dress even better! She made me feel so confident. Also, Lyn treated my mom and I like family. Every appointment was so much fun!! I can’t say enough about how much I loved my experience here!!

I love you ladies so much. I could not have picked a better company to alter my wedding dress. It fit me so perfectly and I have never felt so beautiful. They made me feel right at home and so comfortable each time I went. I would highly recommend this team for any of your alteration needs!

Miracle workers! I had a very short time frame for them to alter my dress and they pulled it off. I initially only thought I’d be able to have it hemmed but after the first fitting they mapped out a hem, bustle and some repairs needed.I also felt very special, cared for and listened to. Can’t recommend them enough! 10/10 for sure!!

I am so lucky to have found Lyns Needle & Thread! Lyn and her team did alterations on my wedding dress & did a great job. Every time I had a fitting with Lyn she made me feel so great & confident. She made the dress fit me perfectly and listened to what I wanted. Lyn & her team are experts at what they do, and have great suggestions as well. Her home studio is very cute & bridal themed. It was a special part of the wedding planning process to go in and have fittings. I will continue to go there for future alteration needs!

I have used Lynn twice for alterations and the finished product was wonderful both times. One time it was a very tight turnaround time due to the dress arriving WAY late so I deeply appreciated her fitting me into her schedule.
