They have lots of great stuff, but the racks are so compact that you can’t move anything to see the clothing on the rack. You have to pull it off to see it and then try to get it back on the rack. It makes shopping while you have your kids a bit difficult because it takes 3x the time to sift through. They also don’t have a bathroom, so I had to run my potty training toddler to the staples next door.

Great prices, bigger of the locations!They accept /will buy clothing 1-2 years old and baby items up to 5 years old! Or you can put it towards a store credit.Have a great loyalty system. Every $10 spent is 1 point.Staff is friendly. Informative, and helpful.Small note: much better than the Scarborough location.Please check out if you haven’t!

Not being a Karen or anything but 50% off on christmas apparel as per their social media and this is what I get. Lady at the cashier at 10:15am did not want to apply the discount because the dress is not Christmassy enough or did not have a Christmas/Santa design. BS!!! What a total rip off. If my daughter did not need a red dress for their concert tomorrow I wouldn't have gone. Staff needs training on how not to be rude. Obviously people shop here as times are hard and of course they make it more difficult!!! Thank you, Lady! Hope the $3 extra that I paid help you a lot. Looks like you need it more than I do :)

I went in to resell my best items in new or like new condition: a Melissa & Doug toy car set that retails for $20, brand new shoes that retail for $20+, GAP sweaters (the popular bear design) and they offered me the equivalent to $1 per item…!When I asked about how they arrived at their total offer, they said they don’t print out receipts that are itemized (to “save paper”). But my guess is that it’s a convenient way to disguise the fact that they are not adhering to the 20-50% commission to the seller.How do I know? When I walked around the store, items were not cheap. There’s no way that if they paid me a dollar for a pair of brand new shoes that they would be re-selling them for $5. Their shoes were on sale on average for $10 + and these were in used condition, not new like the ones I had.The associate was very nice - but the business model and management seems - for lack of a better word - shady. The pricing model is not transparent, and I suspect that they under-offer the seller and then hike up the resale prices after. There’s no way that sellers are being paid 20%. More like 5-10%.In the end, I took most of my items back and I’ll be trying Facebook marketplace. Where I’m pretty sure I can sell shoes for more than $1 each.I will not be recommending this place to sell baby items - the markup is incredibly disadvantageous to the seller and this is capitalism at its best.Do not bother going in to sell your items unless you want to give them away for a company to profit from. Better off donating them to families in need.

Staff could be more friendly.. I asked if they had a trash can & they told me to use the one outside the store. I decided to hold my empty coffee cup and they finally agreed to toss it in the garbage behind their desk after a while. ALTHOUGH, I picked my son up the classiest pair of Stacy Adams shoes for only $10 & they're literally brand new!! So I was really quite impressed. These shoes are likely over $150 new. They only take good quality second hand items so you know your getting what your money's worth here! 100% Recommend stopping in this store and checking it out!

Absolutely love this store! I’ve had great experiences as a buyer and a seller. This is now my go-to store for everything baby, they have so much to choose from and at great prices. The staff have always been super friendly and willing to help out when I had any questions.

Absolutely terrible.- they pay you a fraction of what your item is really worth; the Scarborough location is fair.- I wasn’t given a receipt for my purchase; my fault, I didn’t ask. When I tried to return it, they said to sell it back to them.- they almost always forget to ask for customers phone numbers- They have made up prices on the spot; it was unfair because the Lego, almost identical in quantity and quality was much lower.- I was holding my baby and I asked for help to the car and they said no.I never leave ratings but I just had to this time. Moms beware.

My wife and I love going here for our daughter. There's always a fun book, a cute dress, or a nice pair of shoes that we can occasionally buy to brighten to brighten our little starlight's smile. The staff are friendly, helpful, and approachable. They always have sales and seasonal attire or even holiday themed toys. You may or may not find something you want, but you will find something you like.With regards to those whom are upset that they aren't getting their value worth for clothing, toys, or shoes, this isn't that kind of place. Once Upon a Child gives you their best and fair offer, but if you're looking for more, sell somewhere else.

I had a great experience at this location! The staff were so friendly and dedicated. They took the items I was selling right away and gave me a great price for them. Plus I was able to find a few gifts for my newborn niece. All the items I bought were in great condition and were very affordable. Will definitely be returning as she grows!!!

Once Apon a Child is treasure trove of items for your kids. They offer everything gently used (and some brand new!) from equipment to toys ! Rows and rows of clothing, shelves filled with every size foot wear, the grandchildren love browsing through the goodies. Make money on on the items your children have outgrown, an fantastic business model to reuse items and pass them on.
