A & B Towing & Heavy Recovery

Tow driver was great, owner is a liar and a crook, quoted me a price of $160 for 1 hour for a small deck truck to do a 15 minute job moving a small forklift 10 feet onto a flatbed trailer. Then overcharged us $100 extra on our credit card before talking to us saying the job took 1.5 hours at $170/hr, and when asked about it he claims hes never given anyone a price over the phone in 20+ years! How else did I get a quote then??? Also after his quote he couldn't even have a truck do it at 7pm because he was at home already, I had to stay in town and get a hotel just to wait till 830am, absolutely not 24 hour service not even 12 hour. You definitely do NOT get what you pay for here! Too bad I couldnt give negative 5 stars cause I would!

You guys should not suggest place to your customer if that place does not have a mechanic. I towed my car from you guys to Canadian tire and paid you $147 and they don't have a mechanic to fix my car, fine I got it. But when I asked again to tow it to a different place, you said pay only $140, I am still okay with it. But now when planned everything and set up a timing with you, You are telling me you are going to charge me $250. Please keep your promises and be fair with your customer. I am a manager in retail store too and if I won't keep my promises to my customer it's not professional for me to be in my job. So, yeah I am not happy

Is Sandra McKenzie not the same as Sandra Ednoste just her maiden name. Sad that a company had to make their own reviews to upgrade their Google status especially the office manager" Also limited income she drives a land rover for god sakes

Thank you to the amazing and understanding dispatcher and the driver also polite and amazing for prompt service. Thank you for not leaving me stranded late at night. They are the best and will only trust them with my vehicle. Sorry, I buried my car so badly that the poor driver had to dig some to hook up my car properly without doing damage to my car.Thank you to the driver for letting me warm up in the truck. I highly recommend a&b to my friends and family.

Had a great experience with this company, the dispatcher was great and very polite as well as the driver Dallas who got me back on the road. And he even helped me find a faster and safer route home. He was well mannered and even had some ice tea and chips for me when he arrived. I was very happy with the service they provided me and would recommend to anyone in a pinch. Thanks guys!

Driver was very polite and made sure he worked quickly and efficiently. My truck was handled with great care and safety. I have also seen them tow several other vehicles around Grande Prairie which seemed to be handled with care and safety .

Locked myself out of my Freightliner. Called A&B to check prices. Was told it was $100. The other tow companies charged $140. So I had them come because they were cheaper. They opened the truck and took my credit card information and said they would email the receipt. When I opened my receipt the bill was $157.50. When I called to find out why they informed me big trucks cost more. But never said anything when I called them or when the tow truck showed up. Their dispatch knew it was a big truck at a truck stop. All they said was sorry when I called them about it. Poor professionalism and crooked. DO NOT USE THEM OR THEIR SERVICES, unless you want to be overcharged. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> So their response is full of lies. The other driver asked and I quote, Do you guys unlock semi truck doors?" The dispatcher said yes then said it was $100. When he handed me his phone I told her it was a yellow Freightliner. At no point did she ever say the price would be more than the $100 she quoted earlier. This company is full of pathetic liars. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!"

These gentleman came out quickly were very professional had my wife and I to town in no time flat with a fair price turbo you very much guys. Now if only the dept of highways would fix there moon craters littering the highway.

My daughters car broke down on the highway one night when I was out of town. I called A&B Towing and the owner answered late at night. He was very helpful and made sure someone was sent out to help my daughter as soon as possible. They dropped her car off at the repair place, gave her a ride home, and made sure she got home safe. I felt comfortable knowing my daughter was in good hands when I was unable to help her. We are new to the city and after A&B Towing was so helpful with my families needs, we set up an account the next day so I could use A&B Towing for all of my commercial needs going forward. The women in the office were very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Very trustworthy and professional organization.

Recently A&B helped me out of a huge bind. I had a crew stranded in the middle of nowhere, late at night, and they were able to get to them and tow them out in the early hours of the morning. Great rate, too. Thank you very much.
