LaCité

We are one month into a four-month stay at La Cité. Antoine and his colleagues have been exceptional, promptly answering questions and responding to our requests. We spent the first month in a furnished two-bedroom on a lower floor, then moved to a one-bedroom on a higher floor with a spectacular view of downtown Montreal. Both apartments were spotlessly clean and very well equipped, with plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, cookware, small appliances, nice bed linens, and fluffy towels. Antoine even got us a new 12-cup coffeemaker when we let him know that the small one originally provided would be insufficient for our coffee habit! Although some people might find the neighborhood to be a little bit too lively on weekends, we aren't bothered by noise and are very pleased with the convenient location next to Parc Mont Royal, as well as direct underground access to a shopping mall that has two supermarkets, a dollar store, a pharmacy, a gym, and restaurants. We are very glad we have chosen to spend our summer at La Cité.

Great choice for furnished apartments. The apartment was well furnished and it was easy dealing with the staff whenever issues occurred (special thanks to Antoine, my rental manager).Super convenient, with the direct connection to underground mall that has all the amenities you need. The gym is not the best (very old equipment) but it's included in the rental and it has everything you need so really I can't complain.

I love living here, the services are an elevator away, if there`s something wrong in my apartment the services fast, they come right away if it's something serious or in a few hours. My apartment is very nice, I`ll tell my best friend or family members to come and live here without any worry.

very nice experience with the city. In the heart of downtown Montreal. Apartment very clean and close to everything. you can even do your groceries without leaving the building. Nice atmosphere. Very welcoming staff and management. Especially the charming Hiba who was very caring. I thank her for all the help and support she has given me.

After a flooding in our apartment and the need to find short term housing with pets during the renovations, we found the staff and accommodations at Les Appartements la Cite to be excellent. The location is perfect, close to the mountain, downtown and public transportation. In particular we appreciated Antoine for promptly addressing our concerns and for getting us the apartment that met all our needs. He was caring and easy to communicate with.

As an incoming student moving to Montreal soon, I stared to look for apartments online; after filling in the contact form, I was contacted by Samuel, who was very very helpful, warm-hearted and considerate! After asking my preference and approximate move-in date, he provided a few options for me and one of them was exactly what I was looking for! The whole process was very smooth and quick; the virtual visit was nice, and Samuel always responded to me immediately whenever I had questions or concerns. I am looking forward to moving in soon!

All the crew who took part in the renovation process of our unit's bathroom were courteous and professional. You can leave for work and be assured that all your belongings are safe. We were well-informed by the supervisor about the details and provided us with temporary unit to use while the bathroom is being repaired. When the work was finished, they did the final touches and fully cleaned the area.

I have booked a unit with LaCité to live for one year starting this summer. So I haven't moved in yet but the process so far was super convenient and very smooth so I'm very optimistic. Thanks to Antoine all my questions were answered -which were very detailed too- and requests were accommodated -including arranging a virtual visit. He is very attentive and polite. This was a great comfort as I am moving from overseas and it will be my first time in Montreal. The service I got so far was very professional which is a good indication of how it will be when I move in.

After arriving May 15th, I met with Gabriella to talk about a couple of issues with my suite. Last year I was in a different suite which had a balcony, and which I really liked. She listened to me, and she talked about possible options, and then checked and said the suite I liked so much would be available on the 31st and she asked if I would like to move to it? I said yes, please! She called Antoine in and the two of them changed my booking. On the 31st I moved and I was, and still am, very happy. Gabriella was very professional, patient, understanding and both of them were most helpful. The next day she called to ask if I was pleased and if everything was alright. I told her yes I was very happy and comfortable. I mentioned that the screen on the balcony doors was broken, and she said she'd have it repaired. Within 20 minutes two workmen arrived, removed the screen, and shortly returned and replaced it. I was impressed with the fast service! I like LaCite not only for the wonderful view of Mont Royal and the great staff, and also the convenience of having the shops, post office, pharmacy and movie theater on the lower level, a short elevator ride away, within this same building. Gabriella and Antoine made me feel welcome and did everything they could to make sure I was happy here, and I'm very grateful and thankful to them!

Lack of communication and responsibility with Agent Samuel C.Everything on the website seemed really good to me except of the amount of 1 star reviews complaining about poor management and etc. I initially ignored the fact and contacted the establishment by email then by phone (I did not receive any response from email hence I contacted by phone). On the phone, I was told that an agent will contact me by phone the next day so I waited. The agent never contacted me until 3 days later where he emailed me the copy pasted lines and asked for what I'm looking for. There was also a statement that said feel free to contact for virtual tours. I responded to him each time within less than a few hours each time and I get a response from him the next day(s) each time. Eventually, he found a room that I am looking for so I asked for a virtual tour. He asked how he'd like him to contact me and I answered him about that and then he disappeared for 5 days. I sent him an email asking if he could call me and it turns out he was on leave for those couple of days so I was like fine, I'll wait until he comes back to office. The day he got back, he emailed me saying if I am able to come visit the next day in the afternoon. I was a bit confused because I asked for a virtual tour not an in-person tour and he did not mention the specific time. Before when I gave him my information, I mentioned to him about my availabilities and time zone differences. To me, it seemed like he had forgotten everything we've talked about. I then responded by saying, Yes I am able to do a virtual visit tomorrow at noon EDT"
