Absolutely brilliant and highly recommended. Dan dealt with two chimneys not cleaned in decades with no fuss and took the time to share his knowledge with me so I couls maintain them. Really friendly, punctual, professional too.

Really excellent. Danny's attention to health and safety was remarkable: not just the things he has to do professionally but also the extra steps he took to make sure he was 'Covid secure' (to use the jargon). I appreciated that. He gave me advice on what I needed to next and recommended the product and a firm to do the work. Most of all, I felt very confident that my chimney was safe. Communications were excellent. First class service.

Hodgsons Chimney Sweeps
Second time we have used Hodgsons and yet again a professional service. Danny was punctual, gave the burner a proper service, check and clean. He also sorted out a couple issues on top of everything else without quibbles and without being asked. Everything was left tidy and the burner also given a clean on the outside. All in all Danny's knowledge and attention to detail gives us the satisfaction that everything is safe for another winter. Thank you, see you next year.

Brilliant service, always friendly, clean and tidy and very reasonable. Has done wood burning stove, pellet boiler and wood boilers for us, also issues rental property certificate at no extra charge which is good peace of mind for landlords :)

Friendly service, right from initial enquiry through to completion of the job. We had our wood burner and flue swept and cleaned. Danny laid out floor covering to ensure the house did not get dirty. Having not owned a wood burning stove before (it came with a house purchase), Danny was brilliant at educating me about every detail from how the stove worked, what sort of wood and accessories to buy. He was very knowledgeable and gave a great service. Thank you.
