Beautiful waterfall and surrounding area. 4 stars because of the amount of garbage around here. Absolutely heartbreaking... And disgusting.

Lots of memories here as I've been coming here since I was a small child. Perhaps for me my love of the place comes from mostly the personal nostalgia. However it is a gorgeous place to be and go hiking, it's a small area that leads down to the Bruce Trail qnd that's where the real hiking begins other than that the area itself is mostly a small siteseeing lookout all g a very short scenic trail.

If you are looking for waterfalls to take a photo of, this is not one to really go to. There is no clear angle and it is full of garbage and debris. There is a nice path in the area is pretty nice to walk around.The old sanatorium building though, that has a cool look to it.

This place has seen better days. Due to the combined efforts of a developer (Valery) and the city of Hamilton, the place is surrounded by a derelict building, graffiti, garbage, drug paraphernalia. It is best to visit during the daytime as the place is not policed at night and elicit activities are often conducted here.

Took a bus all the way there to explore and see the history only to realize thesanitorium is all fenced with security cameras all around. Must have been bought out by someone which is unfortunate for those who would like to see and experience the history of this place. ON TOP OF THAT, the sanatorium falls has NO water and NO falls at all to be seen, there is just a boring path with the view being blocked off by overgrown nature.
