Second time here, and I was impressed by my visit. I had visited a few years prior and don't remember the experience. This time we were seated, promptly. The ambience was relaxed and warm. Food was really good and a little different from what I have tried at other places. The price was a it on the pricey side but the food and service is worth it. The gift card I had as a birthday present cushioned that damage a bit. The neighbourhood is also lively with lots to seeand do especially if you are walking. Definitely worth trying.

Finally, I was able to enjoy the fantastic place!! The atmosphere perfectly sets the stage for a very enjoyable time for just a quick bite and drink or a beautiful meal! Much of their fare is locally sourced, and the open access view of the kitchen helped enhance my appreciation for this place. The food is exquisite and only surpassed by the service!!

The atmosphere and service were great. The server was very knowledgeable and attentive. I am giving the place 4 stars instead of 5, because we were under the impression there were going to be lots of meat dishes when we ordered the road trip. Portions are not large but enough with 6 course meal; Red meat was only served in 2 dishes which was disappointing. There was a dish neither of us liked, the best way to describe it, it was like fish custard. The place is pricy, but delicious, and we will be going back since the Road Trip menu changes frequently!PS. Hands down the best pasta we have ever tasted.Meat dishes shown in the photos attached

Truly a farm-to-table experience! The food and service were excellent each time we've been. In particular, the housemade butter and bread, the ribeye and denver steaks, the charcuterie board and the earl grey crème brûlée with lavender shortbread. Reservations are a must. Highly recommend Rge Rd for elevated Canadian fare!

My husband and I went here to celebrate our tenth anniversary, and we weren't disappointed! We both ordered the road trip, and every single dish had complex but well-integrated flavours. My personal favourites were the rockfish crudo and the elk steak (pictured below). I loved how all of the dishes were careful to incorporate local ingredients. The service was also friendly and attentive. RGE RD is a definite gem of a restaurant.
