A good friend of mine brought me here last week on our way to Northern Ontario. What a treat! It's like a dream world of Asian food. Extremely clean, always fresh food. Not a buffet fan usually but couldn't wait to take several trips to the various stations here. A great experience.

Went for our Anniversary. Staff was so pleasant. They brought a small cupcake with 2 candles and took a picture of us. Later in the meal brought the picture in a magnetic frame. So nice of them. Prices are steep but good was amazing

I recently dined at a restaurant and would like to provide a neutral review, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of my experience. Overall, the service provided by the waitstaff was commendable, with special recognition to Leona, who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The waitstaff as a whole exhibited kindness and delivered great service throughout my visit.When it comes to the food, the overall quality was good, and I found the dishes to be tasty. However, I must mention that the ribs I got were slightly plain and lacked the desired flavor profile. Nevertheless, they were still acceptable and served their purpose.On the downside, I encountered an issue with the host of the restaurant. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the initially assigned table and politely indicated our preferred alternative, the host's reaction was less than satisfactory. He responded in a rude and defensive manner, which left a negative impression on me. Furthermore, his explanation for not accommodating my request was unclear, and when I questioned him further, he struggled to provide a coherent explanation.The host's behavior is crucial as they are responsible for creating the initial impression of the restaurant. It is important for the establishment to prioritize professionalism and ensure that the host interacts with customers in a respectful and attentive manner.

We came back in the summer 2023 on a Friday. There was seafood medley. So good. Brought the nieces for their first time. Food still good. You must make reservations.Everything was awesome. If you go on the weekend call and make reservations. Pace yourself for greatest value.

I kind of knew what I was getting into when I walk in. The food was fine nothing, special but nothing bad. I came kind of late at lunch, a lot of the hot food had been sitting and not the freshest. The bottom line for $25.99 for lunch is not a great value these days.

Stopped for lunch thinking the buffet was open....was disappointed to find out it wasn't...but after deciding to stay and order off the menu. We couldn't be happier. . The food was fantastic...I've eaten at every Chinese restaurant in North bay and you can't even compare the quality of everything we had...egg rolls, spring rolls, lemon chicken, veggie fried rice, mussels in black bean sauce, curry chicken, torpedo shrimp...all outta this world!

Always love the Mandarin! The food was great, typical Mandarin stuff, the service was great as usual.The only reason I'm giving them a 3 is because of the price. $37 per adult is pretty high, and the quality of the buffet isn't worth 37 bucks.Also, a 9 yo child is never going to eat 18 bucks worth of food.Probably won't be back soon because of the price.

The food was very good. The stuff was great. Every time I left when I came back, my table was all ready for us to sit down again.
