Too good experience. Many many thanks to Sandra for the hair color. Really loved it.

I used this salon often before the pandemic and was happy with the service. Since then, I have decided I will not return. My previous appointment was simply a trim with bangs. I was quoted $40 for that but ended up paying over $75.(I still don’t know what the extra amount was for since it more than covers taxes.) My last visit was for a cut and highlights. Quoted $110 by phone, but I left the salon paying $186. I unwittingly had add-ons in the service, that I didn’t need (hair mask) and they didn’t tell me it was a lot extra for these 5 minute services. (Also, I didn’t appreciate using a bib with someone else’s hair left on it.) This seems to be a pattern at the salon, so be prepared to pay about 40-60% more when you leave the salon.

Went for a haircut with Chantal. While there she cut the right side shorter than the left. I mentioned it and then she cut the left side shorter than the right. I stopped mentioning anything as I didn’t want to end up with a buzz cut. She told me that « hairdressers who think their customers are too pretty give them bad haircuts out of jealousy ». Not sure if I should feel complimented by my cut or not.

Maria my girl, always gives me what i want and does the most amazing job. It’s hard to find salons that you want to stay with good prices and does a good job. She’s my go to whenever i need a cut and style or want to dye. Always leaves me satisfied <3

I had a very good experience as I am new to this Salon. Sandra helped me find a nice soft highlights for my hair and the result is beautiful! She is very approachable and works well with her client's need. I will be happy to recommend her expertise to all my friends and family.Also all the staff seems very friendly and welcoming, and they have all other beauty services under one roof. A jewel in Dorval!

I had a horrible experience at this salon. The hairdresser cut too short. I explained not to cut short and I almost cried when she shaved the back of my neck. She huffed and puffed and showed no compassion and made me feel worst. When I complained to the manager she supported her employees bullying behaviour. I cried all night. Stay away from this place. They lack quality and customer service. There are better salons on lakeshore that care about their clients and offer quality service. Also, they skimp on hair dye. My roots would show grey after 1 and a half weeks. Cheap place.Yes, my roots were done twice by Denis. You are lying and you know it. I am registered in your system. That is why I go somewhere else. Lying is horrible and you lack customer service and quality. Shame on you, really.

I went to get my hair done at la girouette for the first time after having the same hair dresser for approximately 20 years and needing a new hair dresser. Chantal made me feel like I could trust her with my hair right from the start. She made sure I knew that she wouldn’t let me leave if I wasn’t happy with my hair. That wasn’t an issue though. Got my hair cut and bleached and she did exactly what I asked for. She’s great at what she does. She’s also passionate about what she does, and she’s hilarious which is a nice bonus. I’ll be going back!

Mary is the best. She colored my hair and did an amazing job. Super nice too. Clean and welcoming salon!

Lovely salon and conveniently located. Visited Montreal for the week and was looking to get my nails done for my birthday. Don't know the area well and came across Girouette's online. I booked the powder resin nail service with Josee - She took her time and I was pleasantly surprised how much she enjoyed chatting. Nails turned out super beautiful! Merci. Don't forget to bring cash :)

Maria is a hair magician! She does my keratin treatment, and my wild/frizzy/curly hair becomes silky and manageable. The whole staff is so pleasant and accommodating, too. Great salon!!
