Core Hockey Training

These guys are truly one of the top development teams in the Edm area. Lots of instructors to ensure the kids are learning, the drills are progressively more and more difficult as the camp goes on. I will definitely be using these guys again.

My son took their PeeWee tactical camp and it's been great for him. He said he loves the camp, the coaches are great, and he knows more". The biggest improvement he says is that he feels like he has more options with the puck. Great camp

Won't be registering again, this was our first time with core hockey and traveled from stony plain to Edmonton for camp. Everyone was handed out jerseys day 1 and my son asked the young man handing out jerseys in the lobby, they said they didn't have any, there was a huge box full. So he carried out the 3 days without one, on the last day I asked the coach about it, he did apologize but then I just said that it was unfair that he asked and was not given one, he took offense and was quick to respond with well he didnt ask me

We discovered Core Hockey training about 1.5 years ago. My son (14) loves the camps and training programs that Blair runs. He has said multiple times that he has learned more in the 17 week Game Awareness camp, or the 2 week conditioning camp then he learned in a full year of minor hockey. We will absolutely be signing up for more of the Core Hockey training.My son loves Blair and Ethan - he especially likes Blairs no-nonsense, straight to the point coaching style. The drills are engaging and quick and Blair has no problem stopping a drill to reinforce a point, or making a player do it over again until it is right. He is tough when he needs to be, but runs a very good camp - encouraging self sufficient behavior and attitudes in the kids who attend. I absolutely recommend his program to any parents looking to add skill AND discipline to their players game.

My son has done multiple camps with Core Hockey Training and it has always been a great experience for him and by far his favorite camps to attend. Coaches are professional, respectful, and are great with the kids. I felt much more confident with my son playing contact hockey after he attended the Body Contact Camp. And it's always nice when Blair sends us a quick note after we register, welcoming us back!

Blair and coaches run a top notch, progressive based camp, with small groups and keen attention to detail. His programs attract top level players for a reason, I only wish I had my players work with him sooner.

Parents sign up for CORE Hockey!!! My son Devin loves Blair. And as a parent that has signed up for numerous hockey camps around the city (Quantum, Serdachny, Better Player, etc) and lots online (Belfry Hockey, ITrain, Tim Turk, Intelligym, etc) I know good instructors and teachers and Blair is the best! He just has a way to talk to your player and teach them. He possesses amazing knowledge. The 2021-22 season was our 1st with Blair and we both learned so much. We will definitely be back for many more. Selfishly I don't want to share Blair with others but if you are on the fence I can't recommend him enough. You won't be disappointed. I usually am too lazy to write reviews but Blair was just so helpful for us this year that I felt compelled to write this. Sign up for his camps (his passing training is just amazing) - your player will definitely improve and gain so much knowledge and skills. Blair's teaching and drills will have game transfer (which doesn't always happen with other trainers/courses).
