Bad experience. Ordered appetizers, salad and entre. Ordered the tuna tartare the waiter came back to inform us they ran out of avocado but they can still serve the plate if we still wanted it. We ordered the flounder entre and it was very bitter and we let the waiter know to remove the plate for our table. For dessert I ordered the bourbon cheesecake and the waiter came back and told us it wasn't available.The waiter recommended the strawberry cheesecake for dessert but it was very hard and did not taste like cheesecake.when we asked for the bill we noticed the flounder was still on the bill even who we did not eat it. The waiter said they never told him to take it off and we were still were charged and paid for the entre. The food over all was not the best for a steak and seafood restaurant. I would rate the food over all a 7/10. The restaurant was also freezing in the dinning area I had to keep my coat on the whole time. I could hear all the conversations that the wait staff and kitchen were having it it wasn't as professional. Over all experience I would not go back.

10/10 Experience. I look forward to many more meals here with friends and family! We ordered a few things on the menu and each dish was unbelievable; taste was incredible, good portion sizes, and presentation was beautiful. I had the pleasure of siting in the dining area, so peaceful. I also returned to sit at the bar for an app and glass of wine. The vibes in this place are incredible, so many cool pieces of art and decor. Thank you to the staff for such a great dinner service as well - everyone was so pleasant and attentive. Must go spot in Kingsville!

My wife and I each ordered 1 pre-dinner drink, shared an appetizer and salad and each ordered a steak dinner with a 4.0 Vivino rated wine and finished off with a shared dessert. $420.00 including tax and tip. The steak was good, not great (Keg quality) but everything else was great. Needs better steaks and starch/veggie included in the price of the meal aka the Keg/Elite Steak and Seafood. With the butcher of Kingsville 1 block down who sells premium dry aged steaks, you would expect a better selection. I don't mind paying a price like this for a great meal but not when I leave a little disappointed. I'd rather drive to the US where I can pay this same price and get USDA prime steaks that are amazing.

Amazing restaurant. staff, service, food and ambiance 10/10! A lot of complaints about the price in these reviews but I think it is fairly priced for the type of ingredients, quality of food and incredible service! the restaurant is so beautiful- the bar reminds be of the Bull and Bear at the Waldorf! Best restaurant in Windsor/Essex County!! Miles above the rest! Definitely will go back! They even accommodate dietary restrictions!

6 of us had dinner here last night. We all ordered different things on the menu. Everything was wonderfully presented, tasted fantastic ! Each dish was superb, very tasty and imaginative. Portions are large enough, we were stuffed, had no room for dessert… next time. Beautiful interior, very cozy and welcoming. I give this restaurant a perfect score !!

The ambiance is wonderful for a special occasion or an elegant dinner, nothing in windsor or Essex County can provide this experience. The food was amazing and the hand crafted cocktail was so delicious. Their wine list is extensive and unique, we tried two vintages and enjoyed them immensely….so happy we have this wonderful place to come too!!! Congratulations to the owners for creating this great space to enjoy!

We were impressed by the impeccable service and food. They apparently can seat 140. The new decor suits the place. Not overly done, just nice. Above average price but worth it if you consider the whole package. The patio area is enclosed so it could be an all season one. Will definitely come back for more.

Food was delicious, you're paying for it but worth it! Went for a birthday and they brought us creme brulee three ways, which was nice and the flavours were unique! It is nice to have a beautiful dinner option in town.

Our first visit to the Thompson Manor for dinner was excellent, service was great and our meal was awesome.However, our second visit wasn't as good. I was really excited to eat here, but sadly I was disappointed. I asked for my steak medium rare. It came out rare. Not a huge deal. It was served with a side of friend onions? Random. It cheapened the experience. My Brussel sprouts were over cooked but the taste was good. Overall an average meal but not worth the cost. I wouldn’t go back. The 2 stars is for the atmosphere and the vibe was nice and elegant.
