I cannot recommend Dorsey Rescue enough. When we submitted our application, Cailey professionally responded in a timely manner and made sure to conduct her checks to ensure the kittens were going to a healthy home.No fault of Cailey’s- the first cat we adopted did not work with our current cat, but Cailey was VERY quick to accommodate us and arrange for the cat to be re-adopted. We were not going to continue to see a second cat after that experience, but Cailey reached out and suggested we look for a younger cat.I’m so glad we decided to do that, because a week or so later, we adopted Cosmo- our curious, little kitten. She gets along so well with our other cat, and we are so happy Cailey was accommodating, understanding, and willing to find us a perfect match!We have had no issues with our little Cosmo since , and she came with all her vaccinations and was spayed and chipped :)

Cailey and her team are so friendly, professional and educated. They helped us find 2 sweet kitties whom we adore. Their process of adoption was quick and easy and they were able to answer any questions I had. Cailey is always responsive and is with you every step of the way when adopting.

We took in a couple of kittens, but our older cat wasn't happy about letting them into his space. I was recommended to contact Dorset Rescue Kittens and Cailey has been very helpful making sure the kittens find a good forever home.

We lost our other two cats within the last year and were ready to adopt another couple of cats. A friend told me about Dorset Rescue Kittens from an interview on our local radio station in Haliburton. I followed the website and Facebook page and reached out to Cailey about a cat who was found near Hall’s Lake. We adopted Hallsey (two-year-old stray found near Hall’s Lake) as well as a 10-week-old kitten (Spicey mamma litter) on June 11, 2021. I can’t say enough about Cailey at Dorset Rescue Kittens. Cailey is very passionate about animals, and you can clearly tell that she is truly working in a field she loves and is meant to be in. She has lots of energy going back and forth to vet appointments, looking after all her cats/kittens and foster families with cats/kittens and rescue missions, and rescuing cats/kittens at a moment’s notice. From the time I reached out to her about a cat we were interested in, I found her to be professional, informative, knowledgeable, caring, kind and understanding. She did not push us to get just any cat and understood that every family has certain things they look for in a cat. She is thorough and makes sure that the people adopting these cats/kittens are vetted and suited to being proper caregivers. She provided all the paperwork from the Guelph veterinary and also sent us home with a bag of their favourite food for transitioning. She also made it clear that she would always be available if we had any questions after adoption. We are extremely happy with our new additions Hallsey and Sunny, and I would highly recommend Cailey (Dorset Rescue Kittens) to adopt a cat or kitten.

My fiancé and I were heavily contemplating adding a second cat into our family for a few months prior to us actually applying. We'll the most perfect kitten came along and it was destiny we got him.When you pay your fee for a kitten you are truly getting full value when you consider all the care they recieve prior to you taking them home. My little guy was neutered, had dewormer, had flea treatment, his mom was tested for FIV, he had a micro chip etc.When I took my little guy for his first vet check up amd gave them his sheet of medical history they were so impressed with everything he had done.I have reccomended to others adopting from Dorset Rescue Kittens as they truly go above and beyond for their rescues and make sure they have the best of care before going home.

We adopted our little Peach from Dorset in November. We received great information about Peach ahead of the adoption to ensure she’d be a great fit for our busy family, and she was the perfect match! The love Cailey has for these kitties definitely shines through. So glad to see the care and attention these animals receive when being fostered and then matched with their forever families. Keep up the great work Cailey and volunteers!

We were very lucky to adopt a pair of beautiful bonded kitties siblings. It is very clear that Cailey and her volunteer foster parents put a lot of love and care to these kitties who deserve a permanent home. Great work!

We adopted our two kittens in November 2021 from Dorset Rescue Kittens and the entire process was seamless and wonderful. Cailey interviewed me quickly and checked references from our previous vet as well as gave me any information I needed on how to take care of kittens. The conversations I had were super informative and educational. We picked up the cats in guelph which was super easy to coordinate and it was a pleasure to meet their foster family. Could not recommend this organization enough!

Cailey and the team are so friendly and helpful. She helped us pick the kittens that would most suit what we were looking for. She was super responsive and happy to answer any questions we had. The whole process was smooth and very straightforward. We are absolutely in love with our kittens and can't thank Cailey and the team enough :)

Dorset Rescue Kittens was absolutely fantastic as my boyfriend and I were looking to adopt a pair of kittens. They went above and beyond to ensure that both our kittens were a good fit in our home and the transition was as smooth as possible. They always had the kittens best interest in mind which reassured us throughout the whole process. We now have two beautiful kittens who are growing wonderfully together.
