The Doctor's House

This is a very pretty venue space to host your next event! Weddings will definitely look pretty in this space. The halls are expansive and ceilings are high. There’s chandeliers that are imported from Italy and the chandeliers are also big too. The gardens are pretty in the back and it backs to a ravine so there’s adequate privacy. There’s a cute chapel to host the ceremonies too. They have it all and can cater to what you envision your wedding to look like or what your party needs.

I highly recommend the venue as the grounds were just stunning on the day of our event. We got married in May of 2023. Angela and Elisa were just so wonderful. Darwin was fantastic on the day of our wedding as well. All staff, including Anthony, the lead on their in house DJ services, are very approachable and ready to accommodate your needs when you express them.

The Doctors House was absolutely amazing to work with in making our wedding day exactly how we had imagined! Angela was amazing when we first toured the venue and Elisa was incredible throughout the planning and day of coordination! We were able to use the chapel for the wedding and the Colony/Heritage room for the dinner and dancing. Such a beautiful venue with all of the wood accents. The dinner was delicious and all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this venue and staff to anyone planning a wedding. We also stayed in guest suite 2 the night of the wedding which was super helpful in that we didn’t need to find transportation to another location. We had our wedding at The Doctors House in July 2022. The venue, food and service was absolutely perfect. Our coordinator Elisa was incredible. She was so lovely and went above and beyond to make our day one we would never forget. :) A special thank you to everyone at The Doctors house for making our day very special :)

Photographed one of my first weddings here back in 2015. It's a great venue especially for small weddings. Bridal suite, church, and reception are all within walking distance. There is also a gazebo in the back and the surrounding area is great for couple photo sessions especially during warmer months.Food and service was also great from what I recall and parking is abundant. Highly recommend Doctor's House if you're looking for a wedding venue.

We held our wedding reception Sept 2022 in the Heritage and Colony room, which was amazing because we got the whole upper floor and balcony to ourselves. Washrooms are conveniently located in the middle. Everyone really enjoyed the venue and the food.From our first inquiries Angela was informative and quick to respond. Couples got an email 3 months before their special month that an events coordinator would get in touch and what to expect (they focus on couples by month because they're so busy).Elisa and her daughter tried to make sure they understood what our expectations were, on the day of they would check in to see how things were going and if anything was needed.When we had our food tasting the head chef came to see how the meals were and if we had questions. We commented the pasta was a tiny bit hard which he explained was so that the pasta wouldn't be overdone by the time it was served at the tables from the kitchen. Whereas we were in the restaurant and it's only a few meters from the kitchen. Food was amazing by the way.Servers and bartenders on the day of were professional and also made it more fun for us and our guests.There are many pictures of the venue so instead I'll share pictures of the food since I haven't seen many comments or pictures of it. We also had soup and pasta for appetizers, and the poutine station for the evening.Thank you to everyone at The Doctor's House. Your team, not just the venue, made our wedding night memorable.

We had incredible service at our friends wedding we were invited to. It's very nice restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful. Food and drinks were tasty. We had a lot of fun dancing!) Thank you for great service.

Hi everyone!Me and my husband got married at the Doctor's House on September 24, 2022. If I could pick 3 words to describe the day - it was magical, stress-free, and a good party!We secured our date in Jan 2021, well over a year before our wedding, because I was anxious of the wedding rush once COVID restrictions lifted. Pro Tip: be proactive, do not procrastinate.Aside from that, everything was flawless. From the planning to the day-of. Elisa and Angela were so informative and helpful with the entire process from logistics, to the day of coordination. We also booked Bridal Suite #1 Friday and Saturday night of my wedding weekend, and it was well worth it. Dealing and communicating with the Doctor's House was great! They answered all my questions, and the staff was so helpful.We booked the chapel and the Country Fare for our wedding. And honestly, the Country Fare is the best room to book at the Doctor's House. It holds a decent amount (140-180 people), and it has this beautiful, large outdoor space that no other party can hang out or walk through, because that is all reserved for you. The Country Fare has this beautiful backdrop of trees, and has a beautiful fountain and gazebo as well, that you and your guests can take photos around. Our photos turned out wonderful.The food was DELICIOUS! All my guests couldn't stop raving about it.Special mentions go out to Angela and Elisa, as they helped out with the entire process. Rob+Em - loved having our wedding here. We had our wedding on a Friday and it was perfect. Venue, staff, food and DJ were all amazing. We had our wedding in the garden room which felt like the perfect size for a 80-90 person wedding. It's also newly renovated which is great.

A very popular venue for a reason, it's truly wonderful here. Lots of stunning locations to photograph in, and sunset hour on the balcony is chefs kiss.
