Swiss Country House Restaurant
Went as part of the Almaguin Highlands Chamber of Commerce Meeting and the food and service and hospitality was over the top. Beautifully presented and full of flavour and such a wide range of new and exciting combinations. Highly recommend

Great food, lots of potential, BUT we waited well over 50 minutes for our food.The Good: Really appealing menu. Food tasted great. Huge meal portions. Lovely atmosphere. Parking is really easy.The Not so Good: I think they just had too few staff. I already mentioned the wait which was the main problem. My food was never cleared from the table. There was a long wait for the desert menu (which we asked for twice) and finally didn't arrive until we were ready to leave. The bottle of white wine we ordered should have come with a chiller.All that said - we will definitely go back and try some of the many other things on the menu :)

Went in and checked out their new breakfast menu. Good portions, bottomless coffee and tea. Food was really good. My hubby had the eggs Benny and I had 2 eggs bacon potato and toast. My son had the pancakes (minus the lemon which I thought sounded delicious but not my son lol). All came out hot and fresh and tasty

Great food, great atmosphere. The all you can eat Pickerel is outstanding, amazing schnitzel and the best tasting veggies eve, crisp, crunchy and packed with fresh taste. Wonderful food!

I won't eat here now that Dan isn't cooking the nightmares I've seen happen. If things change I'll update for now it's a big NOPE!!best server is the short blonde with the big smile I'm terrible with names.

Great place. Great food. Great ambience. Staff was friendly. Our family of 4 arrived for dinner with no reservation and got sat at the bar section but was equally nice.Recommend to make reservations in advance so you can get the lake view of sunset which is amazing.They have a little playground, a dam and a dock within vicinity so you can arrive 15-20 mins early and check out the area.

What a lovely spot!Excellent food, and extremely friendly service by the staff here! The blonde lady who served us (I can't remember her name) was bubbly and courteous, and ensured that we were well taken care of. And the manager even came out to say Hi and check on us to ensure everything was great!We will definitely be back!

Swiss Country House Restaurant
1st time there for my birthday this year. Not a huge menu and they are short staffed. Wait time was longer then normal but we expected it. The hours for being open are super short. Not sure If I was camping there, it would suit my needs. When food arrived it was hot, and plenty of it. No issues there. View was nice and boat accessible is key. Over all we will be back.

Friendly staff, consistently delicious food, and reasonable prices in a beautiful setting. It's a regular spot for my wife and I, both dining in and takeout. For me, it's one of the places where I find something I like so much, I end up ordering the same thing every time rather than exploring the rest of their menu :)
