Island Folk Cider House

Folks, this place feels like home. The servers are just the most wonderful human beings on the planet, the cider is brewed with love and community in mind, and you will never find a more cheerful ambiance in all of Sydney. Whether it's trivia night on Wednesday, and afternoon live show on Saturday, or the many games they have available at all times while sipping a Rebel Rosé or one of their amazing seasonals, you will never be disappointed

Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re into cider and beer in Sydney. Very relaxed vibes, nice staff, and a good amount of space. You can order a cider sample flight consisting of four different ciders to try out. They also have specialized cocktails (I.e. mimosa, sangria, pina colada) that are made with cider instead of the usual liquor. There are a few board games available to try out and there is live music playing from 3-6 pm on Saturdays. You can sit indoors or outdoors in their patio where you can also bring your dog with you. There is a parking lot out front with a few parking spaces. Walk in and try out their ciders or buy a few cans to take home.

Love this place! The wait staff is always friendly and has a joke or quip. The drinks are flavourful and they re always coming up with fun cocktails and such. We come weekly for trivia. Best kept secret in Sydney!

Excellent cider, the Rebel Rosé is my favourite. They have many seasonal varieties in the summer, all of which are quirky but delicious. You can find their product at this location but also many of the pubs and restaurants around town. Great people running this new Cape Breton business in Sydney’s Historic North End, locals are embracing it, and I’m sure tourists (especially cruise passengers) will too when the time comes for their return! It will be awesome if/when a taproom is added!

Best Cider ever I so wish I lived closer.. The Rebel Rose was my absolute hands down fave then I tried the Jello Tree WOW I hope you bring it back I have raved about it to all my friends here in the Annapolis Valley

Nice place to get cider in town. They had a nice selection of ciders on tap and because it was hard to choose, I ordered the flight. Each one was good.Friendly service in a light and bright place. I will visit again if I am ever in town agwin.
