Lotus Inn Restaurant
Food was bountiful, but bland. No real standouts here. Smorgasbord was $25 pp, and considering what was on offer, kinda meh.Place is worn out. Piles of boxes here and there. Open doors look in to darkened banquet halls piled with disused tables. Could use a refresh or at least a once-over to straighten things up a titch.Neighborhood is super sketchy. Park out front so you can watch your car.

It is old, not much has changed in 50 years as far as food goes. Changed the layout of the original dining room. I enjoyed the nostalgia, but not very good food overall. Most is deep fried, and bland.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! A friend and I went for dinner, we were told to go get a seat. We went and helped ourselves to the buffet, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for drinks! We are our meal before we got a drink!! A server came and said she would give us a discount on the meal because of it. We go pay and my friend mentioned the discount, the waitress said yep no problem and then proceeded to punch in our meals and pretend to hit a discount button. They are so cheap they can't even honor their own words! Absolutely pathetic will not be back!

The food was dry and many dishes were close to inedible because they were hard. The ladies working there were friendly! The atmosphere is dark and dingy, definitely could use a good refreshing. The Price was absolutely way too much for the lack of quality or quantity at this buffet.

We went for the buffet tonight as moving and tired. Was my first time and was very impressed. Lots of options and I found maybe one or two items I didn’t find really good. Good price for the quality, options and the service with refreshments and clearing. Was very impressed. If you’re looking for the nostalgia feeling of an 80’s kid out for family dinner this nails it! Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Haven't been here for 20+ yrs and was pleasantly surprised. Tasty and fresh buffet. Beef/broc fried chicken were excellent. Could use a couple more desserts, I'm not a big jello fan. I'll be back for sure.

They will rip you off. They have a menu posted, but will change the prices at will claiming the menu online is 10 years old". wife literally clicked the menu and it says "posted by manager in 2020". They were rude and did not correct the problem and I will be calling better business bureau on them. Plus the food is absolute garbage."

I Love Roadtrips because I love all you can eat buffets ! I live in the Vancouver area where everything is overpriced and there's very very few all you can eats . With Covid , there is even less .But get on the road heading east , and you'll find plenty in Kelowna , Kamloops, Calgary , etc .This long weekend I stopped with 4 of my kids and wife at the Lotus Inn Buffet in Kamloops BC .The food was amazing ! Warm and fresh ! I ate 4 full plates of mostly Egg Rolls , Sweet and Sour Pork , Roast Potatoes, Perogies , Ginger Beef . I also had 2 bowls of Ice Cream .Everybody left full and happy . I give this place 5 out of 5 !!

Well I didn't get to be seated to even experience much of anything except a decent amount of blatant judgment of our outwardly superficial appearance of living in poverty... They would not even seat my partner & I at a table even though they had already seated a number of our friends.I was throughly disheartened considering how much I had enjoyed this restaurant in the past and was hoping to share this experience with my partner.
