My experience with Marcelo and Gloria at the Pazan Gallery was exceptional. I had a family heirloom painting that was in need of cleaning and a few touch ups and brought it to Pazan Gallery. Marcelo is an amazing artist and did an outstanding job renewing the painting. I would very highly recommend Marcelo and Gloria to anyone looking to restore an important piece of work—you can rest assured that your artwork will be in good hands!

If you are looking for someone to frame something soecial, PAZAN Framing and Gallery is definitely the place. I had several prints and pastel pieces framed and they were incredible. Attention to detail, careful and meticulous with handling the prints, patient to offer suggestions and take the time to find the right matte and frame. They are the very best at what they do. I highly recommend them .

Don't get me wrong, Pazan gallery does great work. BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A FORTUNE FOR IT.*** I'm writing this review because I want you to know about Pazan's pricing before you decide to use their services. ***I recently brought in a large canvas painting to be stretched an framed. After consulting with Marcelo, he quoted me approx. $800 for the stretcher frame, stretching, and labour, and approx. another $800 for the framing. Including tax the estimate came to just under $2000. I said that sounded crazy, and that we only paid $500 for the beautiful painting. He replied that with COVID and supply issues, everything had become considerably more expensive. I had an uneasy feeling, but took him for his word and reluctantly agreed to pay a deposit, which was half of the total.I went home and discussed with my partner, who said that was ridiculously expensive. I decided to phone another framing store in the east end of the city, where we've also had things framed professionally before, with excellent results. I provided them with a photo of the painting, sizing, what we would need done, and type of frame that Pazan was going to use. They quoted me a total of LESS THAN HALF of the amount that I was paying at Pazan!Frustrated, I called Pazan gallery back 3 hours after I had been in (same day), and explained that after discussing with my partner, we'd decide to hold off on the framing at this time for financial reasons. I was told that I had already paid the deposit, and that the stretcher frame had begun to be built.The next morning, I went in to speak to Marcelo. I told him what I learned, and here was his response. He told me, You should've done your homework and shopped around". And unfortunately

I recently had Marcelo and Gloria enlarge one of my photographs on aluminium, and frame an art print. In both cases, truly astounding work and their recommendations and expertise have ensured I have two beautiful pieces to hang in my home. Very highly recommended.

During an exterior renovation on my home a treasured piece of artwork was damaged and needed to be reframed. As it was a gift from my daughter I wanted it to be treated with care and restored using as much of the original materials as possible (i.e., the frame and surrounding mat). I am so happy that I found Pazan Gallery. Marcelo and Gloria clearly understood why the print was important to me and why I wanted it to look just as it did when I received it.While other galleries would have claimed that the broken, scratched frame wasn’t salvageable and insist only new materials would be needed, Marcelo and Gloria went above and beyond to meet my request. They carefully repaired and repainted the frame, and shielded the print with a special glass that reduces the damaging effects of ambient light. My favourite picture has been beautifully restored and is now back where it belongs.I highly recommend Pazan Gallery! Thank you so much for the effort and care the both of you took with this restoration.

Marcelo and his wife are lovely people! They opened early so I could come in and discuss what I wanted. They restored old photos of my grandfather from WW2. They spent time talking to me about the options available, what layout I wanted of the photos. They sent me multiple mark ups before they executed the project. I would recommend them 100% of the time. Fabulous work!

I recently went to Pazan to get this hand drawn picture on a piece of birch framed. Marcelo and Gloria were really helpful providing various options. It was treated and framed within no time. We love it! Thank you for the great service.
