RUN FAR AWAY, if this is your management company. They “manage” our condominiums and are absolutely horrible. GOOD LUCK having Carla or Danny respond to any emails, phone calls and messages. If you have a issue, also good luck to you in getting that issue corrected, or getting help, guidance etc. I have dealt with them for 9 years now and have only ever heard problems from others and my own experience. I am astonished the condo board has not fired them.

I happened to be on a business trip recently and was seated next to Daniel. I did not know him whatsoever, but he initially did have some good insight regarding the Jets' playoff woes. After learning that he's a Property Manager at Akman, I ended up needing his services a few weeks later. Dan managed to help me get situated into a new short-term rental unit within two weeks. Not only was he courteous, but he was also there to assist me on my move-in date. Very grateful for all your help Daniel... Go Jets Go!

We’ve been renting a condo managed by Akman for about 1.5 years now and I’m so glad we decided to rent first! We’re looking to buy now and are avoiding any building managed by akman. We’ve had some serious problems such as balconies on the cusp of falling apart, mail boxes constantly broken and not fixed for weeks, among other issues I won’t waste time on describing here. If on the rare occasion they do respond to your email, it’s a poorly formed excuse for the delay. It’s too bad because we love our unit, the building, and the location but the property managers are terrible. Honestly just some better communication would be a huge help.

I lived in an building owned and managed by Akman for almost nine years. The building has always been very well maintained. Anytime I had an issue it was dealt with promptly and efficiently. I have had a great relationship with this company for years. Best landlords I have ever had.

Hated living in their dirty apartments when I did. They don't tell you there's an ant infestation. They don't tell you theirs bed bugs in the building. Wake you up every weekend nice and early to check traps. No air conditioning sweating my nuts off in summer for over a grand a month about 8 years ago. Garbage.

Loved the people I dealt withDebra and Gavin were very friendly and accommodating.Location was great with grocery stores across the street .Although being downtown; I never had a a bad experience or issues with anyone in or out of the building.Laundry was reasonable and fast

I lived at a condo managed by Akman Mgmt for 2 years and both Daniel and Gavin have been excellent to work with! Always timely and customer service oriented. Repairs done quickly and efficiently, and lease renewals taken care of without hassle.

As a tenant of George Town Park I had to deal with Daniel, Gavin, and the resident manager to resolve a financial issue and repair some apartment things. All of them were very friendly and professional and giving priority in what I needed the most.
