Beehive Hair Salon

I am not one to just make a negative review without giving a chance to rectify the issue but Beehive is just taking far too long to resolve this (and honestly it can’t really even be resolved it’s more just so to try to restore my hair that was damaged during a colouring there) I had my hair done on Jan 7th a full head of highlights. The stylist took an extremely long time so it left the bleach in my hair such a long time that she had to rinse some of the bleach out yet leave the foils on the top because they didn’t have the bleach on as long as the lower parts of my hair. This not only extremely damaged and altered the look of my hair all together, it made for a really awful colour on the top/front strands of my hair, it literally looks like I tried to dip my hair in bleach myself. It also really hurt my scalp. It does not look professionally done. The end process was so rushed because her next appointment was due to start while my hair was still being done so it took all of 4 min to actually cut my hair and she didn’t even style it, left it half damp and my hair was just a tangled mess an hour later from the damage. Overall I am extremely unhappy and was willing to let them have a chance at trying a hydration treatment but it takes days for them to get back to me and now that we are almost 3 weeks after the initial appointment I give up. Here is my review and I will never be going to that salon again.

I had my hair done by Lindsay and she was the friendliest, best hairstylist I have ever gone to! Super talented, literally did exactly what I wanted. I look forward to all my future appointments with her and at this beautiful studio!

The experience was great. A little longer than planned for a hair cut, bleaching a bit and adding a pop of colour (5 hours) but when I started having problems with the color bleeding onto my skin, they took no accountability, blamed my shampoo, and offered to fix it at the third of the initial cost. Disappointed. Won’t be going back there again and don’t recommend. Pictures and videos show after multiple washes that the Color is still bleeding and super embarrassing. :(

Kaylee did such a great job with my haircut and styling. She’s lovely to chat with too. I will definitely be going back to her!

I booked a highlight appointment with Lindsey and had the best experience! I have struggled to find a hairdresser for a while that has the same style as I do and can do the work with my hair. I can say I’ll be going to her from now on :) Thanks to the business for a good experience from start to finish!
