What an amazing place to eat! The vibe is good, whether you're inside or out... a cute, historic train station. We've brought family and friends here. Service is always great. They're always willing and able to work with special, dietary needs.

Lovely pub with a history! Decor was on point playing into its former days as a train station. The service was excellent and everyone was very friendly. I had the burger which was delicious and one of the best on the Island! I'll be back here for sure, great spot.

We arrived about 7 or 8 minutes early to a 6:45 reservation and we were asked to come back in 15, so we did. There were 2 tables recently emptied right when you walk in but we still waited about 5 mins to be seated in an even more cramped back seating area, but fine it’s busy, we were looking forward to dinner. After being seated we waited about 5 mins to order and the waitress only took my husbands order for beer while me and my 11yr old daughter sat thirsty. My husband stopped her long enough to get a Pepsi for my daughter and remove the fries from my plate because I won’t eat them, and really it’s so cramped and taking so long, I just want to eat my burger and get out. More than 30 minutes later I flag the waitress to ask when we could expect our dinner and she snapped at me and told me how busy they were. I could see that but everyone around us were eating. We had ordered 3 burgers with fries. With that we decided to leave. We just get out the door and the owner jumps out and says “your food is ready to hit the table but I can see we can’t do anything to please you tonight”. Considering I wasn’t even served a beverage (not tap water), I’m failing to see how anyone tried to please me. At the same time as this was happening, a couple walks up and catches his attention to be seated for 2…looks like reservations don’t matter at this place. One hour later, nearly 8 o’clock it’s clear my family won’t be eating at a restaurant tonight. This was hands down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.I will say every other year since about 2015 since we’ve been going there on our visits, we’ve always had this most lovely and pleasant brunette waitress with long hair. Last night this new waitress, blond with short hair, it was really a very bizarre experience trying to communicate our order to her.

Loved the atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. The only little downside was we didn’t receive all the food we ordered but i think it was just an oversight! Food was delicious.

Food was delicious! Space is very small, not a place for quiet/intimate meal, but a great spot none the less. The chicken club was very tasty, the meat very tender and juicy, and the side ceaser was perfect. Service was very quick and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Good food, great beer. Food and drinks were affordable especially for the quality. I had a blue cheese burger that was delicious. Wonderful beer selection on tap which included both house beer and PEI favorites. Some people in my group were vegetarian and others had allergies to soy and gluten, and didn't have a problem with finding something on the menu for them which they enjoyed. Staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly reccomend this restaurant.

I got the special last night (not on the menu)! It was a crab and lobster sandwich with fries and it was soo good! 10/10 recommend if you can get your hands on it. Our waitress was also super friendly. We had our dog with us and we asked beforehand if we could sit in the patio and they had no problem accommodating us and even brought our dog a dish of water.

You have to visit here when you are in Kensington, PEI. The food was amazing and if you walk into the old train station style restaurant you will appreciate the magic that comes out of that kitchen. Small space huge flavours. Compliments to the chef and staff! Service was top knotch as well!
