I recently stayed at the August House bed and breakfast with my family of four, and I must say that our experience was absolutely fantastic. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the charming decor of the rooms, everything about our stay was top-notch.The location of the August House is also worth mentioning - it's nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood that provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. But despite its serene surroundings, the bed and breakfast is still conveniently located near all of the major attractions in the area.One thing that really stood out to us during our stay was the attention to detail that the staff put into everything. From a hand written welcome note in the room to the delicious homemade breakfast in the morning , it was clear that every aspect of our stay was carefully thought out and executed with care.Overall, I would highly recommend the August House to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in the area. Whether you're traveling with family or just looking for a relaxing getaway, this bed and breakfast is sure to exceed your expectations. 5 stars!

Oh My this is a beautiful place. The rooms are great size and you feel like your walking into your own space .Every room is done with such great taste and beautiful decor. There are rooms to sit and play games or just relax and have a tea or coffee.Bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious and top notch with the stand alone tub and huge walk in shower.I Will be coming back.I love this place. The owners are delightful.It was a joy to stay here.

The house is beautifully renovated, quiet, and serene. The owners are welcoming and incredibly friendly. And the homemade breakfast was delicious!Whether you’re heading out to a winery, for some local shopping, or to the nearby ski hill, this location is perfect.

My wife and I stayed at the August House last month while attending a wine event in the Valley. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place has been thoroughly and thoughtfully renovated. The rooms, particularly the beds, are extremely comfortable and well decorated and appointed. The breakfast was great. The place is very close to the Valley, downtown Wolfville and many wineries, breweries and brewpubs. Windsor itself has a number of good places to eat and drink and a great bakery (Bedard Bakery) that should be the first stop of the day if you visit Windsor. Highly recommend staying at the August House. I am returning there for an Italian pop up dinner with wine pairings in a few days.

We don’t even know where to begin to express how thankful we are. We recently had our closest family and friends stay with us at The August House for our wedding weekend. The only way to describe our weekend and our intimate wedding experience here is absolute MAGIC. TAH is the most beautiful place we have ever been. We, and our guests, felt at home the second we walked in the door of the most incredible venue- with personalized notes, snacks and drinks waiting, the dreamiest beds (I think EVERY guest mentioned the beds!!!) and beautiful breakfasts each morning.Colette, Laura, and Ezra: this place is a work of art created by three beautiful people. We couldn’t be more grateful for all of the time, effort, and love that went into making our experience even better than we could have imagined. You were a dream to work with and included so many special touches. You went above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely perfect. You and the Hive Hospitality team worked flawlessly together to bring our vision to life (and somehow even better and more delicious than we imagined)!Whether enjoying a weekend away or planning an intimate DREAM wedding, we cannot recommend TAH enough. We loved absolutely everything about our stay at The August House. We have stayed in many of the provinces inns, hotels and airbnbs and The August House is definitely at the top as far as attention to detail, cleanliness, aesthetic and comfort. We cannot wait to be back!

The August house is straight out of a magazine. The owners thought of every single impeccable detail. The rooms are huge, the beds are super comfortable, and the atmosphere is a delight at every turn. It has everything you’d need for a romantic getaway, family adventure or a work retreat. Breakfast was delicious and nourishing and it’s a short walk to downtown. We stayed with our 7 and 8 year old who loved exploring, the board games and Windsor! We highly recommend a stay here ❤️

This spot is such a gem! The ladies that run this place did an amazing job and we had a fantastic stay. The rooms have all the right details - we felt pampered and comfortable from the beginning to the end (the oversized bath towels were such a nice treat after our hiking adventures)! This was definitely one of the highlights of our Nova Scotia trip. Thank you for the memorable stay!

The August House is a magical place. There is a sense of surprise & delight in every room. Photos don’t adequately showcase the charm and warmth - not even close. We felt at home immediately. More than the (stunning!) spaces, including the most comfortable bed, huge custom shower, and sitting room with wet bar - there is a special energy to this place that is uniquely personal and impossible to describe. Look forward to coming back soon!

First off, the home was absolutely stunning. I could feel the love and care in every detail. The morning light that flowed through the windows while I drank my coffee felt like magic. Our world has changed so much in the last few years, and it’s been hard to not lose faith in the greater good. It seems as though everything costs more and you get less than ever, both physically and in energy/care. Like I said, the love and attention and little details at the August House reminded me of what it feels like to care about and for one another. The cookies, the alcohol-free wine, the handwritten note, the bath salts, the high quality coffee… all of these little personal touches meant SO MUCH! I loved the glass bottles and the lack of plastic as it shows a bigger intention and care for individual and community wellness. The breakfast was amazing and again full of love and intention. I have travelled a lot through the province and this was without a doubt my favourite stay. It felt so good to spend money on an experience that felt reciprocal in nature.THANK YOU! Thank you for such a beautiful stay. I will absolutely be back.
