Gyro (Waddington) Park
Lovely little park with clean atmosphere to relax and easy access. Its near the road so the accessibility is high but that also means noises are strong in this one. Its also hard to miss if you looknfor it. It also has a basketball court for people to play basketball at. All in all recommend it for people for qiuck relaxing.

It's a little corner park, good for a quiet sit or a casual walk. I think the other reviewer (karen u) was thinking of somewhere else. I have never used the park much but I have used the bus stop right beside it.

Small park with a regulation height basketball hoop on a half court, picnic table and a park bench is about the sum of what's here. Located at the corner of Townsite & Waddington so there is a fair bit traffic and street noise (for Nanaimo anyway). Well kept. The city worker arrived while I was there today.

After city upgrades it looks great and is a beautiful little park to stop at, but its ideal for picnic meditation or baby/small animal.Not an expansive space.
