Food is great; coffee is not. This is a small location, so the market is not as well-stocked as the others, but, still, pretty good for the size of it. I took my son for Sunday breakfast, at the cafe. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and the oatmeal was quite good, as well, especially with a sprinkling of dried apricot. The coffee was bitter, the worst vanilla latte I've ever had, no contest. I'm quite astounded how they made something so generically good taste so bad, but, wow, it was horrid. It's still a nice place to sit and eat a nice, hot meal - but possibly not breakfast, since breakfast for many of us includes a palatable cup of coffee.

Restaurant service in this place. At first they made some obvious mistakes during the service, but in the end they were able to compensate for this with attention. Thanks to the guy with the pine tree tattoo on his arm, I think he's the manager. And yes, the roast beef was really tough.

Ordered a spanakopita wad packed full of spinach ....staff was friendly and upbeat...my small sized lait is quite the large size and enjoyed it sitting outside to to watch the view ( 5 stars for the view) just steps away from the street. Good place to stop in for a little snack.

A really attractive Urban Fare. They are split level with a restaurant and grocery division. An elevator and ramp are available to move between the two. Excellent grocery selection with a focus on organic and high quality foodstuffs. They have a small bakery and a butcher's shop. There is the restaurant upstairs that has WiFi, plug ins for phone and computer and both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is really good and they have a meat of the day as well as standard salads that are very tasty. It also operates as a coffee shop. They do vegan coffees and teas as well. Parking is from the paid lot below or street parking. Transit is accessible from bus lines.

This Urban Fare is pretty small and yet pretty efficient. You get all basic groceries and more. For example, they have a pretty good cheese and deli counter. Unfortunately, in particular the organic vegetable and fruit section leaves a lot to be desired. On the other hand, it is a good place for lunch or after work to dine-in or take home a reasonably priced warm meal. And if you like it sweet there is a good selection of pastries and cakes. The chocolate cake is always smiling at me. Most of the time I manage to resist - :)

Loved this place! For ready made food options and a really good range of products to buy. Great ethos and open good hours too.

Wanted to treat myself to a brunch sandwich. Stood around waiting to order at the counter for a few minutes before I had to call to someone “hey, are you open?” before anyone acknowledged me. Then when I went to pay there is big sign saying “Mimosas” with a nice picture of a mimosa so I thought “why not?” and ordered one, but the server looked at me weirdly and said we don’t really do those. She went over and checked with someone and eventually said yes we can do one but she made it seem like she was doing me a huge favour. I generally just didn’t feel very welcomed or very nicely taken care of. The sandwich was pretty great though. I liked the guy who said “bon appetit” when he gave it to me that was cool.

A top choice for lunch, but you have to get there early as it's a popular spot with those working in the neighbourhood. Also, the snack and grocery sections are great!

This is one of the only grocery stores in the area . I used my Save On Card today and didn't get any discount on any of my groceriesThey gave me just one paper bag today for a hundred dollars worth of groceries. It was about 40 lbs and I had to carry it quite far from the bottom of the bag. Kind of rediculous. They do have an excellent deli. A good selection of hot and cold foods including curry, pasta, sushi and sandwiches. A nice fruit, cheese, bread & vegetable section too.
