I liked this store in the past but unfortunately an elderly family member had a negative experience recently. Sick with COVID, they struggled for over an hour to make a small online order, only to find out the following day -- parked in the grocery pick-up spot -- that the payment hadn't gone through. The senior asked if it would be possible for someone to bring just a few items out to the grocery pick-up spot and take payment from the car, but sadly the staff were entirely unwilling to help. Instead, the staff said this elderly COVID-exhausted person should just come into the store to shop with a mask on. Needless to say, neither that senior nor the rest of us will be shopping there in future. (Note: as far as we can figure, the payment didn't go through because old payment details seem to have been populated without the senior noticing. Nothing was wrong with the card they thought they'd entered and used. They were able to use that card just fine at the competing grocery store in town.)

Perfect...then you encounter the woman that ruins your entire experience at self-checkout. She's all over you pushing you out of the way if she thinks you are going too slow. Management should check the cameras and fire her immediately.

Went there for getting some sushi takeout last week, it was delicious and fresh. Also fruits were decent. Staff were wonderful.

Metro did a major renovation inside the store, and it looks outstanding. Hot food and takeout area, cold meats, bakery,cheese, and salads area, meat, fish, and poultry area. All new all very well stocked. With rising food prices, we are all looking for deals, and Metro has not disappointed. They have good sales, so you have to read your flyers each week to get value for your dollar. The store is very well organized. The fruit and vegetables are very well displayed, which is nice to see. So next time you're in Arnprior, drop into Metro, you'll be glad you did. Cheers!

I like the store enough but I bought a wrap and it was very expensive which would be fine but it was 3 days old and Cost me almost 7 dollars and the smoked meat was so brown on the top, we thought it was roast beef, so we didn't want to risk eating it. The store is so dimly lit it's very hard to see the stuff you're buying. The staff are super nice though, the lady at the lottery counter was an absolute sweetheart.

Expensive unless you get things on sale, but they also run out of sale items. Eg, deli meat at 4.99 when the sale version of the same thing (sold out) was 2.99. There are other options I'd suggest first.

This has got to be the worse metro!!! Metro arnprior never, ever have the meat that is on special after 4pm or Wednesday, the last day of the sale! I’ve been there last week to pick up the special, nothing, went today to pick up Hamburg meat, (I was not the only one asking) and none!! I left a basket full of groceries! I will not be back, no frills, always has stock so that’s where I’ll be shopping from now on!!!!! PATHETIC STORE!!!!

The staff seem friendly enough but wow the prices here are insane. I know things are expensive everywhere and inflation etc and so forth but anything at regular price here just feels like a whole other level of price gouging.We no longer shop at Metro due to this.

A friend and I came here last night to pick up some things that we needed, and when we got to the self checkout the employee moved over to the machine we were using and stood directly behind us for the duration of the time it took to for me to scan everything. It’s worth noting that there were other people around us purchasing items, but she remained behind us. At one point, she leaned across me to turn up the volume of the machine to make sure I was scanning everything. Completely humiliating and dehumanizing experience, never going back.

I have Ben bring my Lucy here fir the last 6 years and today there was a 20% price increase in hot food. With the price increases with everything else I am going to have to start packing a lunch. Great food there but expensive
