Mara Loop Trailhead

Didn't get the opportunity to explore the entire trail. There were beautiful views. Watch out for dog droppings though.

Great well marked trail.

Bad trail. I would try to find somewhere else. It’s just not worth the time to hike suck a bad trail with no scenery whatsoever it’s just not good.

Love this trail and the area, if you lucky and pay attention to the path you may find some seam agate! Plenty of cactus and great views.

An easy hike that can be extended to on top of Mara Hill.

A moderately easy trail for hiking with some nice vantage points along the way. Be sure to check out bench 69 Brandens bench. It has a great view of the valley and a nice resting place after a small climb.

About 5km round trip, first half is a decent hike up but it’s worth the nice view at the top and there’s a bench so you can sit and enjoy a sunset.

This was a lovely trail. Good duration, difficulty, and terrain. It is perfect for a leisurely walk at a moderate pace. It will take you a good hour, perhaps hour and a half (depending on your walking speed). I recommend that if you go any time between May and August that you bring adequate water, a large brimmed hat, sunscreen, and a sun shirt. There is absolutely no foliage/tree cover at all on the trail. Therefore, if you plan on bringing a pet on the walk, check the weather and bring extra water. I also don't recommend going on this particular hike during the peak summer months (Late July/Early August) as it will be too hot. Also, make sure to read the information sign at the beginning of the trail as it tells you about the species of snake that you may come across on the way.
