This store is a complete mess. 3 of the items I came for were out of stock.Shelves are in disarray with products scattered all over. No organization. Hopefully today is just a bad day

Been awhile since I shopped here but it's actually pretty good . Better then years ago .

To the Chairman of the Board of the Metro, Loblaws and Empire food chain. I am deeply sorry how you have been treated by our Members of Parliament and Leaders of the Offical Political Party's in Canada. Scaring the public on food prices. When you laboured through the pandemic and kept us safe and our food source safe. Im attaching a picture of Tuna on sale for .99 cents at Food Basic's in Tecumseh, Ontario. I remember a young Mike Harris Government in Ontario reminding us to shop around and getting cans of Tuna for .99 cents. I remember 47 years ago when sugar spiked to a price higher then the price of Gold. Please understand the public stand behind you. These Politicians should do their job. I smell the winds of 1929 and they will fall at their feet as they try to mislead us. Keep up the great job my fellow grocers. You are Canada proud!

Lots of products and good pricing on many items. Some nice specials every day.Several international products can be found as well.As with a growing number of stores, don't forget to bring your own bags.

Fruits and veggies are cheaper than FreshCo but their stock isnt as varied or available for examplethey were out of vanilla extract. The dry goods and canned food are the same price or more expensive.

I love this food basics location the staff is very nice and the store is always clean. They have good deals on products and a lot of parking close to Dollarama shoppers drug Mart and Canadian Tire.

Store was very clean and well stocked. Dawn one of the employees was very kind and very helpful. This was my 1st time there. We will be returning.

Great prices and deals but if you wait too long it's welcome to empty shelves here or lucky to get the last one . As usual things just fly off the shelves ,really great deals here ! No change same as before.
