Except tons of mosquitos this season(July, August) you need to be aware of, this is a perfect trail to walk in, not too long, not too short.

I find this park simply beautiful, there is a lot of nature and you can observe different species of animals. I'm always happy here.

Moderate terrain, 4.5 km hike, waterproof footwear with aggressive tread recommended. Took about an hour, very peaceful

Mills Block is a good place for a quiet hike among the pine, spruce, balsam, birch and poplar trees, and 2 ponds. If you take your kids, look for the post for the Big Boreal Adventure scavenger hunt. It's mostly flat though the east loop has some steep rocky sections so wear good footwear. Watch for muddy or icy conditions in spring and fall. It's definitely a worthwhile walk.

Awesome & popular loop trail with an abandoned car from the old days and a hidden quartz deposit to explore. Loved by the locals and a favorite of dog walkers (but very clean usually). This trail is at the edge of town but it 100% feels like you are hiking in the forest. A must-hike for anyone looking to get out into nature.

A wonderful place to do a short hike. The trail is well maintained with boardwalks on some sections. The trail takes you through wetland marshes, home to all sorts of wildlife from deer to many wetland birds. There is a small parking lot for a few birds. A great spot to snowshoe in the winter time

Still very wet and muddy at this time of year. Another month of sun before it will be good enough for trail running.
