Delicious and fresh. The owner was really nice, I liked it a lot. Better than any fish and chips in Toronto :) Batter nice and light, you could tell they focus on quality here!!! I'd recommend

Amazing fish and chips and souvlaki. I don’t usually write reviews at all but this place deserves 10 stars out of 5. The fish was so fresh and juicy and so delicious! The fries were hand cut and tasted amazing.The chicken souvlaki was amazing, the chicken was super tender and marinated well. The potatoes were cooked perfectly with a sour spice that were amazing. Also the rice was my best part, it was made with Afghan rice (personal favorite of mine) and blended in well with the other ingredients.I love this place. I will eat here everytime I’m in port Perry.

Stopped here for lunch today based on a local recommendation and really enjoyed it. We got haddock and fries and halibut and fries. Both were generous portions and freshly cooked and served. The person serving us (owner?) was very nice and brought us our food. The decor inside was new and clean. Decent location and parking. Definitely recommend!

Phenomenal service! The lady and the entire kitchen staff were extremely pleasant and polite and accommodating! The food is well prepared and packed. The halibut doesn't even smell fishy but it was perfectly cooked. Portions were good and the price is comparable to other similar quality fish and chips restaurants. Highly recommend them!

Great haddock and chips, friendly customer service, fantastic packaging and presentation. The fish and chips are generous in size, fresh cut fries, lots of condiments of your choice. By far the best experience I’ve had with fish and chips, especially if you want to eat it on the go or in the car… love the way they do the packaging, makes it easy to eat without cutlery.

The best fish in town. I've had both the halibut and the haddock. The haddock in particular was fantastic - thick, firm, delicious and just the right amount of batter. We got it in the Wednesday special and it was big - 8 ounces of fish! They heap the fries so high that there is never a chance of eating them all. Luckily my son likes them leftover! The photo is the fries that were left after 3 people ate their fill.

Fish was delicious. Fries were nothing special, we asked for them crispy but many were soft. Side of gravy was lukewarm when we got it and quickly cooled down, but they did give us a new (hot) serving.Burger decent, but the way it was assembled, it fell apart on first bite.Service was just ok, not much personality from person on cash.

New edit: customer service is fantastic at this place, im changing my review to reflect the quality of customer care.Provided me with a Large salad free of charge. Was very polite on the phone. Will definitley give another chance!New salad was MUCH better. Lots of sauce and full! Delicious!This is what $10 worth of ceasar salad gets you at on the reel. Unbelievably small portion! The box was feather light, and soooo under filled. $10!!!Edit: the salad had almost no ceasar dressing, and was very tasteless. The croutons were nice though. This was a pretty awful experience which is so disappointing!

Haven’t been since the brothers owned this. It was great. Unfortunately the new owners seem to have much to learn. Fish portion small and overcooked, Fries fresh cut but mushy. Gravey home made but very lumpy. For the price $40 not a good value. Looks like we are going back to Captain George’s in the future.
