I have living in St-Norbert for more than one year, is a clean place, safe, and the administration is always available to help me. I feel really good living here.

Lived there for 9 years until 2012. It was very well maintained. Enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna etc. And my beautiful patio in the courtyard

Owned and operated by Capreit. Ongoing problems with maintenance issues, lack of security, and poor Administration. Some tenants have complained about bedbugs infestation.

I lived at the St. Norbert from May 2015 until Oct 2021. Wonderful years there. The building is located near all the best downtown spots: Quartier des Spectacles, The Main, Quartier Latin, the Village, and even Chinatown is just a short walk. The building itself is a Capreit building. They get a bad rap by many, but this particular building is very well managed. Since I've lived there, the outside bricks were fixed, the pool and gym was updated, the laundry room machines all replaced, the carpet in the whole building was replaced, and the Elevators were replaced! And that's just what I remember. Rent increases were always (only) cost of living.Fabrice, the building manager, works hard to accommodate all the residents. He made sure whatever few needs I had while living there, were immediately addressed.

So as tenant, I pay a certain amount for the amenities here, including the pool, the gym, and the sauna. During the pandemic, they understandably closed down these parts of the building, which makes sense. They are, however, raising the rent a considerably large amount without even compensating for- The closure of these rooms that should be included in the price of rent- The reduction in income that I (and likely other tenants) are experiencing.Heartless company with heartless employees.

New administration sucks, they don't care about anything but the money: they removed 24 hrs security for only a night shift; closed the public terrace; cleaning lady was fired and now they only vacuum all floors carpets once a month, no maintenance on public gardens.

Lived in there for about 2 years in a 1bedroom. Had ups and downs with management at different times and situations and left due to personal unrelated reasons, but here is what I can say:- Location is good- Public spaces are well maintained and clean- Sauna isn't a very good perk, the times I remember trying to use it took a long time to warm up and never tried again- It's a management company, so there are pros and cons that come with it. Like when my dishwasher broke they sent someone to check and replaced it on the same day, but on the other hand, every year I got a notice of rent increase- Maybe unit specific, but the bedroom size was very good while bathroom was tiny. (My opinion)- If natural light is an issue for you make sure to check depending on the unit the buildings next to it might block the sunlight. As per the management, my last few months in there gave me a better image of things there and how situations were handled (Special thanks to Fabrice and Mme Cioclu) so I tend to think it's improving.
