House of Sophrosyne - Community and Residential Treatments

I just completed the residential treatment program and cannot say enough positive things about the program and how much it has helped me not only stay clean but take back my life . The amazing staff are extremely knowledgeable and supportive, but like anything else in life you get what you put into it . Thank you House of Sophrosyne for giving me hope for a much brighter future I am forever grateful ❤️

Hi everyone, May 6 was my 10 month anniversary and without House of Sophrosyne I'm not sure where i would be, I gained my dad's respect and yesterday he told me how proud he was of me and i'm a fighter and my son told me same thing. I even told my union to send females here to get treatment, hi everyone July 6 I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary. Thank you so much for caring and helping me

Completed the House of Sophrosyne’s Full Time Virtual program. It was a 4 week program and we met M-F from 9:30am-12pm. Rachel was our counsellor and I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was so caring and kind, and helped the girls in the group form an amazing bond. The program helped me talk about things I have never had an opportunity to talk about, and gave me many mental tools to use during my recovery. I am very thankful for her support, she is a wonderful counsellor and I would recommend her to anyone who has experienced trauma. The only thing I wish was that the program was longer than 4 weeks. The at-home virtual setting was great because it allowed treatment to be at my own pace and also allowed me to adapt my newly learned habits in my current living environment. I am forever grateful to Rachel for the service she provided, and for the girls I connected with during the program. I really feel like attending was the kick start I needed to change my life for the better.

This place saved my life... waaaay back in 1991. I was there, did programming for 9 months. Fresh off Toronto streets, i was a trafficked child, didn't know i would live to my age currently of 50. It's all because of Toni, and Kathy, and the Cook lol. ^_^

I truly loved House of Sophrosyne.. The staff, the program, the clients, all had a really positive impact on me during the five weeks I was there.. I gladly give House of Sophrosyne 5 very deserving stars and strongly recommend this treatment center for trauma and addictions to anyone needing this type of help.. I'm much better after having gone, you could be too!

Fr maria makes some amazing food.Everything else is great also, but the food is incredible. One time i was late to meds because i ate both my dinner, my friends dinner, and part of my other friends dinner. Sonya was very understanding of course.

I wish it was longer than five weeks it doesn't prepare you to come back out into the real world
