As others have stated, very knowledgeable staff and excellent inventory. If they don’t have the part, they might just source it for you…as they did with key blanks for my ‘95 5spd Westy. I work at a local body shop here in Barrie, ON and came across Dr.Bjorn's Auto while sourcing out parts for a 1982 VW Vanagon. From the beginning Bjorn was extremely helpful. We don't see these vehicles often, so having someone as informative as Bjorn was a great help .. Anything I couldn't find on the website, he was able to bring in for me. We were on a tight deadline with this particular vehicle, as our customer was planning on driving the van out East by the end of the month and keeping it there for years to come. Even with the time difference, Bjorn was always prompt on returning phone calls and emails - He even managed to get the parts ordered, paid for, prepped, shipped and delivered all in a weeks time. Not only was the service amazing but all of the parts looked great upon delivery! Not an item missed! I will definitely recommend any future customers to Dr.Bjorn's Auto. 5 Stars!

Dr Bjorn is extremely knowledgeable and spent time explaining how the vegetable oil system (almost free fuel) installed in my truck integrated with my 6.5 turbo diesel. I would definitely recommend his services.

In addition to having worked with Dr. Björn's in their role as an installer of our PlantDrive components for conversion of diesel engines, I have personally acquired two vehicles via the contacts they have established.While buying and maintaining any older vehicle can sometimes be challenging, the specialized vehicles I have acquired (an Audi A6 TDI Quattro, and a Multivan 2.5 TDI) have been very enjoyable and relatively trouble free.I have also had these and other vehicles serviced there and have always felt I received fair value and the benefit of a great deal of knowledge.I do not hesitate to send PlantDrive customers there for installations and other work. A good shop is in high demand and busy; sometimes you have to wait your turn, or wait for a response to a phone message or email. Sometimes in the very busy summer season, you might have to call a few times. Having been around the shop quite a bit the last number of years, I know from first hand experience how hard they work to try and fit everyone in and especially to get those who had an unfortunate vehicle breakdown get back on the road quickly!Try to plan ahead for regular maintenance requirements, and give them enough lead time; get your vehicle booked in early in the travel season for things you know are going to need some work.
