Feel bad giving a one star but this is more for Shabir Ally rather than the mosque. He has to understand that people who attend the Jumma prayer take breaks from their jobs and are there to pray the Jumma. On the website the time for Jamaat was 1:30, Imam Shabbir delayed it 1:50. I have a 30mins break, in which I have to pray Jummah, delaying the prayers by 20mins leaves people like me nowhere. I get how you can be 5-10mins late but this is too much and this happens quite often. Another thing I have seen at this masjid which is quite unusual is how he asks people to pledge money by raising their hands. Its a masjid not a fish market/ betting place. You should just encourage people to donate and they can donate themselves in the machines you have placed. No need to ask for who is pledging $1000,500,250 and then 100. He won't stop going . This is very greedy and selfish.

The cleanest masjid I have come across thus far. The brothers prayer area is located in the basement and half of the main floor, while the sisters prayer area covers the other half of the main floor. Separate doors are used. Close to Dufferin subway station and just a block away from the Dufferin Mall.

Alhamdulillah, a musalla. Not recommended for Friday prayers though.

Everything is beyond perfect Alhumdulillah. A safe place for all Muslim brothers and sisters.

I don't think the imaam preaches the right things here. I feel like some are incorrect. My first experience with this mosque was during EID, I was shocked to see something similar to what I would call an auction. We come here to pray and hear some good Hardees not a sales pitch and floor plan followed by auction, the imaam starts asking everyone: who is willing to donate 4000, then slowly the bid decreases. SubahanAllah, according to me this is how auctions work.and I also beleive charaty shpuld be done in silence and not scream out a fixed price that keeps dropping after the final callout, doesn't it sound similar to an auction? I don't want to make any claims on what he preaches as I may have learnt few things wrong. But I would like to say that I was born and raised in the Gulf and Islamic was one of my main subjects till grade 10, few things what I hear from the Imaam here just makes me question myself. Who ever visits this mosque, please do not blindly follow this imaam. Do your own research on the topics he speaks and follow what's right.

So peace and calm place to offer salah and almost near to any place in toronto. They have a great buildup. May ALLAH accepts our deeds and increase the blessings on this beautiful mosque.
