Furry Friends Pet Grooming

I’ve been a client for over 11 years. Jackie and the “Furry Friends family” are so accommodating and they do a beautiful job. I trust them with my dog. She’s a shepherd with long hair who needs grooming every 3-4 months. They are kind, caring and never disappoint. Elizabeth

Definitely the best groomer in Waterdown. We have tried a few- cut is perfect. Well worth the price, they are very accommodating, and my maltese-shitzu has never looked better.

We take Max, our 12yo shepherd husky cross to Furry Friends for a Spa Day every couple of months. He loves every minute and leaves there clean, handsome, and happy. The staff there are very professional and friendly, and they love their clients!!

Best place for dog grooming in the greater Hamilton area. Family owned business. Loving, gentle hands do a fantastic job even with nervous pets. I recommend them highly to everyone.

Furry Friends did an “ok” job. I was told 2-3 hours and they called after an hour saying she was done. I have a Bernese Mountain dog who has been groomed many times before so I know that a one hour grooming appointment is highly unlikely. My dog has never come home with such dry skin. The staff told me she was nervous and anxious so cleaning was difficult yet they had about eight other dogs running around in the same area barking at her? I’d be anxious too. Unfortunately I wouldn’t go back and I would definitely not recommend this place to people who have larger breeds, smaller dogs would probably be okay. Disappointing as I used to take my family dog there all the time.

We started taking our doodle Spike there 8 years ago as a puppers and we recently started taking Dudley. They always do a fantastic job and our boys LOVE them. They are more than groomers. They are family and we would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The WORST SERVICE I have ever experienced in Canada. They are trying to get more customers no matter what. I was looking for a place that would be able to do the show cut for my Pomeranian, called 20+ places in Hamilton, Oakville, Milton, Burlington, and these people made it sound like this was IT. They confirmed on the phone that they can do the show cut (or close to it), then prior to the cut I mentioned it again, and they all said YES. When I got my dog back I started crying. He has never had worse hair trim than this. When I said that I was not happy with the work that they have done (there was another customer at the time), their faces went red and mad, and instead of apologizing the owner started telling me that this is what I have asked for! Then she did agree, that that was not what they told they would do (she could not achieve V shape on his neck), and yet they still tried to rephrase what they have said to me and what I have said to them, then they started asking each other if anyone has said anything etc. Real shock was that they started raising their voice at me in front of my 3 year old and 9months old, screaming and pointing fingers at my face that they have never said they would do the show cut (why would I bring my dog to the place then, if other places do a better job for less money? They were asking 85cad for the cut vs 50cad at 4 other places that I've taken him bofore). Two women standing and SCREAMING at mom of 2 to the point that I could not hear myself, so my 3 years old daughter started crying. I asked the owner to lower the volume down, to what she said,”Cuz of youuuu! Cuz of youuuu!” Only imagine what they can do to your dog, who won’t be able to tell you about what was done to him? This is the way our “agreement to disagree” went. I took my kids, my dog and left. I had to tell them, that I was going to call the police at the moment when one worker with pink hair came too close to my face, as I was holding my pom.They offered 20 dollars off, but in my opinion they have to pay to another place to fix what they have done. I would pay 200 as long as my dog had a nice trim, as was discussed 2 times. I did not pay for this disaster.I am not able to take my dog to the show now due to the fact that he looks like a 2kg German Shepard with long hair on his back. All of my friends who saw the photos from before and after are shocked. They should not be playing groomers, because they are not qualified. The owner said she has 40 years of experience, but offered to SHAVE his back. Everyone in this business knows you can not shave undercoat. Too bad they could not admit their failure.10 dogs of different sizes and breeds running around the room and barking, fur is all over the air, smell is bad, service way below Canadian standards. They have asked me to bring my pup at 10am, but to come back after him at 2-3pm, that was concerning, like why do you need 4-5 hours to wash and trim my dog if the time has been scheduled for his appointment?I promised I would do the review, to which the owner said, “One tiny bad review won’t harm my business!”See photos before and after to have the idea.

Did a great job on my boy - no longer looking like a ragamuffin! They did an excellent job getting behind his ears and trimming his paws. He looks so dapper!
