Centre thérapeutique Jomasso - massage therapy center

My wife & I went together for massage. I'm a letter carrier and have had lower back pain. I was unfamiliar with a lot of the techniques used, a lot of pinching and poking. At one point, in the last 10 minutes after moving to my back, the therapist manipulated my right arm in a pseudo-Osteopathy fashion which caused a spasm in my rib cage, nullifying whatever benefit the preceding massage may have brought.Today, next day, I'm too sore to work. I feel like I took many punches to the kidneys. So: worse rather than better.My wife was (& remains) very pleased with her massage, BUT she emerged from the room with a severely swollen face. Apparently her therapist had set the face-rest extra low to better access the neck. An experienced therapist with this preference should have warned of the potential for facial-swelling (which has not completely gone down 18 hours later).ALSO, we were told we would be emailed receipts for insurance but had to call back today to remind them. Very unprofessional.

I had a session with Jimmy, to help reduce the pain I feel between the shoulder blades. I’ve had this pain for years, and it’s not the first time I seek help, usually treatment helps temporarily, but not much more.Jimmy works differently. He explained that he would probably not stick to the painful region; muscles are all connected, and he would “listen to my body” to know what needed to be worked on. I am not going to lie; it was surprising at time.It’s been 3 weeks since and I can say that he is probably the most efficient help I received to reduce the pain I feet. I definitely recommend him and will go back myself.

The best part that I could have an appointment on the spot!!They asked me good questions about my requirement & expectations. Lady at the helpdesk was polite, respectful and helpful. Therapist was respectful and considerate of my personal space and my comfort level. She gave good time and attention to me. Professional and yet personal at the same time. Jimmy is absolutely incredible and so very talented! I have never had a better massage in my life. He has relieved me from so much pain and I will never be switching massage therapists again.
