I bought my first pair of round frames from here and was super nervous about the style and if it would fit my face well. I spent an hour trying to pick out the perfect frame but was super indecisive. The sales rep was so patient with me and helped me through everything. I even came back the next day because I couldn't justifying spending money on something I didn't totally love. But he remembered me and was so helpful.Everything went smoothly and I loooove the style they helped me pick out.

I'm a long time client of Hakim's. I purchase all my prescription glasses here. The staff is warm and friendly. Always make you welcome. Definitely not pushy. Frame selection is awesome and not just your common everyday variety. Lots of fun and funky styles. Charlotte is the best!! Knowledgeable, great sense of humour and above all, won't recommend a frame style that doesn't suit you. Neary has repaired some glasses for me while I waited. Can't say enough positive things about the staff and service there.

The staff were excellent and I'd 100% return! They were friendly, not pushy at all and let us shop without hovering around us. Although at first glance it may look like there aren't a lot of glasses to choose from, their drawers are FULL of every shape, size and colour you could possibly ever need. Spent a good hour going through them all! Their prices are great and turnaround time for glasses is excellent (next-day if they have the lenses in stock, pending prescription of course).

Awesome experience! Would definitely recommend! Staff was very helpful and friendly, helped me find exactly what I was looking for. We’re great at listening to what I wanted as well as giving suggestions. Prices were great as well! The Gentleman that helped me was very patient with me as I sat in the store for some time trying to decide which pair I liked best! The store itself has a great selection as well!Will definitely return here next time I need glasses!

While the sales staff was nice the products they sell are subpar at best. I spent almost a thousand dollars on 2 pairs of glasses that came to me defective and of poor quality. They ordered new lenses for both pairs and when I came to get them one pair my eyes wouldnt focus I assume from a mix up at the lab and the other pair had the lenses scratched . The sales rep said fine we will refund the glasses and wanted the glasses i was wearing back. I left with my scratched and defective glasses so i can drive home. I will be going to a real optometrist to have my glasses made properly. Worst experience trying to get glasses in my life. So now i have glasses with sharp edges on the lenses and scratched sunglasses that i paid almost a grand for. Thanks for nothing Hakim optical.

I went in for an eye exam after years of suspecting that I would need glasses. Very easy to book appointment and doctor was kind and courteous.Very friendly staff and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to frames, lenses and whether OHIP covers certain items.I would highly recommend this store for all your exams, glasses and repairs!

From the first moment I walked through the door, my shopping experience was amazing! The staff were attentive, friendly and most of all honest. I had a particular frame in mind and a price they needed to be. The staff patiently went through each frame until I found the right pair of glasses that met both requirements.They actually made shopping for glasses really fun and stress free. I would definitely be going back there for my next pair!

I was racially profiled asked to avoid touching frames while a couple of other customers were moving around trying on everything without any caution. I complained and never heard back.

Got glasses from here years ago and despite several different kinds of sports equipment to the face, they have survived. Only got a new pair because of a prescription change. Staff actually seems to care about the experience and quality of glasses!

I like glasses that stand out on my face and show my personality, and I can only find these type of glasses at Hakim, Stone Road Mall. They have a variety of glasses to meet every person's needs.
