Walmart Supercentre

This store is really convenient to those in and around University avenue, as it's the nearest Walmart branch after the Boardwalk one.They stock up regularly on important household items and groceries which are fresh most of the times. However, if you wanna buy any provisions that are specific to a particular region, say chinese, indian and mediterranean foods then Boardwalk branch would be the best as they have a separate dedicated section for other country foods.Sometimes the roti, and other bread items becomes out of stock. And also, you will mostly get large packets of provisions rather than smaller packets which is convenient for big families to save some cost. Personally I didn't see any important items go out of stock in recent days. The fish fillets and meat patties are some of the delicious and useful recipes to try out. Overall, it's more helpful and cost-saving on groceries.

I was doing some discussion about the payment amount for water vending machine. I was explaining my point of view and a lady at the self checkout center suddenly said it's not like India. It was a very bad experience to hear a statement like this which signify inequalities between countries and judge a character of someone who is just sharing some concerns about pricing and vending process

Taking away the blue carts that you can carry just to force people to use the big ones is an evil move because not everyone has coins on them. And they don’t allow you to use the big carts if you have no coins. I don’t know what their aim here is but it’s a zero for me.

Beware. My son was falsely accused of stealing the freezer bag he uses to carry his groceries home... simply because it looked too new". Yes

You need 25 cents to release a cart and there are no available baskets. I don't carry any changes around and I am not going to start carrying changes on me because it is not 1990s.

This place is so run down. The carts now require coins to use. Nothing is ever in stock (probably because of theft). The cosmetics section has some separate make shift checkout if you need to buy stuff like mascara or face wash. The store is generally just kinda dingy looking and the washrooms smelled like urine.Not to mention someone once lit the entire toilet paper section on fire so now there’s security cameras in most isles.I can’t blame this place for being in a heavy student area, but otherwise I only come here for a couple quick items. I’d rather drive out of my way to another Walmart for a full shopping trip.

I don’t recommend this store at all the customers service is really bad and they are rude to people I came in to buy some towels and they were on sales and the price say it for both big and small and when I went to buy it she told me it’s only for the small when the tag says for both. And she was very rude

Worst Customer Service everI spent one hour for my shopping and checked off everything at self check out and while doing payment it was appearing a message that an employee from walmart need to sign inA girl named JASPRIT came in and without any manners she staright forward said i need to check every single item you purchased and When I asked reason she said there is any item that is not listed on.She was directly saying that I was stealing stiff from there.My bill earlier was $113And when she checked off everything it came upto $105 for which she was surprised.And i said now you are missing somethingJust learn how to treat customers.If she would have gently asked me to check everything nicely I would not have any issueStaff needed to be trained fro customer serviceNot everyone comes to steal

Poor customer experience- people had parked and left their cars at the pick up spots.. no one to check- waited 35 min for pick up. Never coming to this located again.

I used to go here frequently in 2020 and until spring of 2021 and then started going to the farmers market Walmart.It used to be spacious and now it gets cramped up over the weekends.The aisles have clearly narrowed making it difficult for customers two-way especially in the desserts, spices, international sections.Prices are great and all but the most basic things a store needs to take care of is smooth flow of traffic. It’s be better if they don’t sell stuff where people walk with their carts…
