Spirit Halloween

Spirit is the go to store for all your Halloween needs, but every year the stores get more and more disappointing. Less animatronics, smaller stores, and smaller selection. I cant remember the last time London has had a good store, maybe 2015? overall, they have the basics, but just a really stale location and store.

If I could put a 0 star review I would. I was in on the 25th, and bought merchandise worth over $100. Who i bought the costume for was in the hospital and didn’t get the chance to try it on while there. back in on the 28th and say they cannot do anything, not an return or an exchange for a bigger size. Not a mention anywhere in the store nor do the employees tell you when you cash out when the last day for anything was. $100 wasted.

Great store lots of options. Pricey (60$) for a costume in a bag. When I went week before Halloween line was so long I didn't have time to get my costume. Also, no trying on costumes, returns by Oct. 27th. I suggest trying on in the parking lot to be sure it fits :)

Make it make sense! Bought a costume, took it home and the zipper is completely off the track. I went back to exchange on oct 21st and nothing left in my child’s size. I was told to call customer service, then was told to email guest services. I’m asking for an exchange (to send me a costume in the size needed and they have some available online, I checked) They said it would make sense to go to a store for an exchange and added that I must do so by the 27th(tomorrow). Wow, thanks as if I didn’t think of that.I will delete, if they resolve this issue!

Every year around this season, I go to Spirit Halloween. I seldom buy anything, but as a dear lover of Halloween and all things spooky and scary, it fills my heart with interest and intrigue to just wander around the location and see what's in stock this year. When a place is able to entertain and spark joy without even having to spend any money, you know that place is good.

Spirit Halloween is really cool because it has, from what I've seen the most options for costumes, and they look like they are pretty good quality. Also cute decorations that aren't necessarily Halloween, that I've seen in Spencer's stores,and it's sold slightly cheaper than Spencer's.

A bit scary to walk in for younger kids but a great selection of costumes. Make special note that some items have two different ranges on the kids costumes. We bought what we thought was a 8-10 year old only to find out it was a size 8-10 suitable for a 4-6 year old. The 12-14 size was suitable for 8-10 year old, a bit confusing. They were willing to exchange though.

Unfortunately this location has decided to take down ALL their animatronics. That's 90% of the reason most people go to spirit. I can't see what I'm purchasing and it takes the fun out for the kids. They also don't have a very good selection of animatronics for purchase this year either. Just all around disappointing. Probably the worst spirit halloween we've had in london as long as I can remember.

I don’t recommend this company to shop at. We be spent a lot of money at Spirit Halloween over the years and I Had a horrible experience at the Masonville Richmond location. When I walked into the store I asked the girl at the door to exchange the wig because it had a manufacturing defect. She was the store manager and refused to do the exchange and told me all sales are final that I could call the 1-866 number. I did so, waited on hold for 20 minutes. I gave the girl at customer service all my info. So she could contact me but I never heard back. This entire experience has been very disappointing!

Spent $300 in the store, bought a mantle decor with light strand as 1 of my items. Within a minute of putting batteries in the lights it heated up HOT! It was not even turned on. The lights didnt work either but i am glad i tried them to discover they dont work as that is how i found out the batteries were about to burst and catch fire. Imagine if i had stuck batteries in and walked away, my house would be burned down.The store policy is no refunds just exchange, apparently the manager can authorize a refund if they believe its a hazard but the cashier wont get the manager for tou to ask. I bought the items i wanted and this one is a fire hazard so why would i want store credit.
