I love this church so much. The first time I entered this church it was in the very early 90's for a beautiful wedding in which they are still happily married today. Bless you Friar David and all the staff that have made me feel so welcome. My faith means so much to me. I recommend St. John the Apostle Church to anyone in Kingston or the surrounding area.

Great architecture, the baptismal fountain as you enter is a nice touch. Acoustics very nice. The priest is always easy to hear and the crowd participates in song too. Great community! Has been my church of choice as of late.

Welcoming, wondrous church. On 18 March 1945 the first Ukrainian Catholic Divine Liturgy was celebrated here by the Honourary Captain Father Michael Pelech (padre for Military District 10). Exactly 75 years later, on 18 March 2020, we unveiled a Christ Pantocrator icon and trilingual historical plaque recalling this date in Kingston's military and religious history while hallowing the memory of all those who served in the Canadian military and merchant navy during the Second World War. We also remembered the Ukrainian Catholic faithful who gathered in this church so many years ago. Thanks to Friar David Collins for welcoming us back to St John's! We hope this icon and plaque will remind the faithful and passerby in the decades ahead of the kindness and fellowship provided to Kingston's Ukrainian Canadian community by this parish.

Love 830am Sunday mass. Short and sweet and I can stop into mass before I go to work!
