We had outstanding service from The Irish Plumber which started from the first phone call where everything was clearly explained and an appointment set up almost right away (they also contacted us the day before to confirm everything was good to go). Our plumber (Mike) was able to arrive early (he called first to ensure that was okay, of course), quickly assessed the two jobs we needed doing, and provided a reasonable, up-front estimate before doing any work. He was extremely polite, professional, and did an excellent job that we are completely happy with. He completely cleaned up and ensured the job was fully completed to my satisfaction before he left and we were able to simply e-transfer the money to pay the invoice (minor thing, but makes it simple). I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work done.

We got 3 estimates (replace powder room sink & faucet) and decided to go with The Irish Plumber based on value and ratings. Michael and Mike were friendly, efficient and very professional. We couldn’t be happier with the final product. I didn’t even have to do any touch ups to the paint!

Showed up late and quoted us around $200 to replace a gasket for a water supply valve and toilet connector hose. We declined. Not sure if this is a fair quote (maybe it is), but I did it myself by watching youtube and spent less than $20 on parts.Nothing bad to say about the company, just sharing my experience so people will have an idea of the cost. There is also a $60 dollar trucking fee which I think is standard.

The plumber was super helpful. They listened to my concerns, looked everything over and clearly explained everything that they were going to do as well as the associated costs.I was able to book quickly and now it's taken care of and I'm very happy.

Our plumbing problems were handled efficiently and professionally. He was punctual, polite and mindful of keeping work areas clean. He put up with my many questions and my hovering about while he worked. The prices were very fair. Perhaps most of all, I found Mike to be a nice guy. I am definitely going to recommend this company and will have them help us out with our office plumbing needs in the future.

The company was very professional in terms of their reception and the plumber was on-time and extremely polite. My problem was the ridiculous price estimate to sweat off the cap on two pipes and replace them with shut off valves under our sink. I think this would have been a 30 minute job at most including all preparations and the estimate was $400, which is on-top of the call out fee of $60. When I initially called, I had asked to get an idea of the cost but they said they cannot estimate the cost until they are on-site. When I heard the $400 cost I refused to have the work done. Instead I just paid the call out fee and did the work myself.

It can be difficult to find a quality contractor to trust with your home which is why reviews and word-of-mouth is so important to narrow down candidates. That said, The Irish Plumber is very highly rated and deservedly so.Right from the call-out to quote on the work (basement bathroom rough-in), up to scheduling and completion of the work, everything was spot-on.Price-wise, Michael's quote was very competitive and reasonable compared with the other quotes we received without the feeling that corners were going to be cut.Quality-wise, we were very impressed by the professionalism, attention to detail and how accommodating Michael was to doing the job the way we wanted (even with last minute changes).Michael had a great apprentice to help out (Thomas) and they made sure to leave our house tidy at the completion of the job.Highly recommended without a doubt!

After searching online for a plumber to fix a leaky handle in my shower, I remembered that I saw The Irish Plumber’s truck outside a neighbours house a couple of weeks ago, and decided to give them a try. The fact that I was able to have an early morning next day appointment was a definitely bonus for me. Michael was very polite and worked diligently to fix my issue, even explaining what was wrong and how it was fixed. He was up front with with all pricing and I felt very comfortable dealing with him. I will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing issues that I have.

Michael was very professional and did an amazing job installing a new toilet and vanity. Fast and friendly service, high quality and great attention to detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Excellent job!
