Danica was incredible during our wedding a few weeks back! We definitely recommend her for anyone's photography needs.She was super accommodating, transparent, and was a huge source of support for us during the day - weddings are hectic and she was there at every moment right with us.We felt so comfortable taking photos with her and our guests had a lovely time connecting with her as well.The photos we received turned out so beautiful and really captured the small but precious moments. My husband and I were introduced to Danica through a friend of a friend. Just looking through her website I knew she would be a great fit for our wedding. Danica was quick to reply after we reached out and was available for our date. Right from the beginning Danica provided us with great information - not only on photography for the wedding but also so much on how to set up our wedding day and things we hadn’t even thought of. We first met Danica in person at our engagement photoshoot in October 2021. We were apprehensive on having an engagement shoot initially as we are both not fans of being the center of attention or having photos taken so we were nervous leading up to the session. As soon as we met Danica in person I felt comfortable right away. After finishing the shoot for the day we were both so shocked by how much fun we had. A week or two after our shoot we were surprised to have all of our photos ready, we were so so happy that we did our engagement shoot and with how the photos and the video turned out. Every time I watch the video Danica put together I want to cry (it’s so beautiful) ❤️We got married on May 21st, 2022 at the Walper Hotel and Danica and Shay provided photography and videography for our big day! Danica made me feel like everything was taken care of and I had complete confidence in her and Shay to capture all of our important moments. So many times the day of the wedding members of my family and bridal party were so impressed with Danica and Shay with how professional they were and with how comfortable they made everyone feel. I am truly grateful for Danica and Shay and so impressed with their work.I would highly recommend Danica Oliva and her team for any event !Thank you for capturing all of these once in a life time moments ❤️

I would recommend Danica to anyone looking for beautiful, candid, energetic photos of your special day / moment in time / people. We love our wedding photos so much - we look at them every day on our rotating photo screen on our TV and never get tired of them.I will also say that Danica is considerate and flexible and truly wants to help make your wedding photos as smooth and joyful as possible. We hired Danica for our 2020 wedding and as we all know that year came with a million ups and downs regarding what events could happen and how. Danica worked closely with us to help us rework our photo plans on more than one occasion and ensured that, due to a situation completely out of anyone's control, and even though things turned out differently that we originally planned, we still felt really happy with the final result.

After seeing photos of friends and family with their pets that Danica had done, we decided to invest the time and money into our own photo session with our new puppy Bruno shortly after he came home. These photos are just as well loved and cherished as the photos from our wedding day because they capture the joy Bruno brought into our lives after almost 2 long years of the COVID 19 pandemic. Danica was incredibly professional and provided us with a laid back calm environment to capture our little family. Her response time to communication was very fast as was turn around for finished photos! We loved our experience so much we’ve scheduled a second session to have her capture the newest addition to our family. Don’t think twice, you’ll cherish the memories Danica captures for you for the rest of your life.

We absolutely LOVED our pet photography session with Danica! She's professional, great at communication, super kind, and such a pleasure to work with overall. Her website/booking system is very user-friendly and we appreciated that she provided brochures on what to expect, how to coordinate outfits, and location options. What we adored most about Danica was how patient she was with our dogs. One of them is extremely anxious while the other can be very indifferent but she adjusted to their comfort levels in the new environment and managed to capture lovely photos of each of them. There is no doubt we would recommend Danica and even return for a shoot in the future!

Danica is an absolute dream. She will ensure you feel comfortable and have some fun during your sessions- even if you are awkward or shy in front of the camera like me!! We had Danica for our engagement photos and our wedding in 2022. We recommend her to all of our family and friends! I couldn’t imagine having anyone else for our sessions going forward. We can’t wait to book another. She captures such special moments in her photos and the passion shows through her work. It was awesome to hear all the feedback from guests and other vendors who worked her because she was such a great energy through the day. Her website and platform used to share photos is great, I can’t believe how quickly we got to have our ‘sneak peeks’ and the variety of shots we had at the end to remember our special day. I am forever grateful that we had her for capture our day.

Working with Danica was soooo much fun. My boyfriend and I are camera shy but Danica made us feel extremely comfortable. She had so many great ideas on how to capture the natural laughs and smiles and she guided us the whole time. She was amazing with our dog, and was able to find ways to get his attention. We enjoyed her bubbly personality and the session time flew by. Not to mention the photos exceeded our expectations, we couldn't be happier.
