Sam takes the time to help you understand the importance of the work he is recommending, pricing is fair and he'll let you know if something is showing some wear but still has some safe performance life left. You will know your car and what to expect from it better for having done business here.

I was refereed to this shop and told to ask for Dave about 6 years ago, and have been coming here ever since. Being a woman I have been to may shops previously where I felt I was being taken advantage of financially for my lack of mechanical knowledge. I have never felt this way at A & J. Dave has always been honest and up front about the pricing and what work really needs to be done to keep my vehicle safe and on the road. So please take note ladies(and gentlemen), this is a great place to go get your vehicle work done.

Sam is a very honest and knowledgeable mechanic. I used to go to Toyota dealership and paid huge amounts of money at every service and the same job Sam does in half the price. His prices are very reasonable and he takes the time to show you and explain exactly what service your car needs. Once the repair is completed, he actually shows you what he did and lots of times he does much more than he charges you for because at the end of the day he wants you to have a car that is safe, works well and lasts you a long time. I highly recommend Sam. Just visit him once and you will know why he is the best mechanic we have in the lower mainland.

Guy charged me 800 to fix 3 things over the phone. Engine coil, ABS and door. He said he will get it done on Saturday.Turned out I had to uber to work on Monday, didn't fix the ABS and forgot about the door. Charged me 950.If you enjoy being scammed this is the place to go.

I have been bringing my car to Sam for the past few years and have nothing but good things to say. Sam is trustworthy and reliable, his estimates are always accurate and fair. If he sees something that needs attention he lets me know, and If something doesn't need fixing he tells me up front. His shop is always busy, yet he never keeps me waiting. It's a good feeling to know I have someone i trust to take care of all repairs and maintenance.

Sam is an excellent mechanic whose best quality is his honesty. He will not tell you something needs repairing if it does not. He fixed my car in a short time so that I had it for my mother's arrival from Hamilton, Ontario. Really decent guy who knows his engines. I am lucky to have found him.

Sam did a great job on my car. Fixed a problem other mechanics couldn’t. And didn’t rip me off doing it. Great, fast, fair service. He went above and beyond for me. I will go to no other mechanics. And his dad was wonderful

These guys were really nice. Sam took his time explaining everything to me and The service was fast. I live in vancouver but will consider bring my car out here next time! Coolant change and flush, drive belt replaced, oil change and flush, plus all my questions....200 bucks. Seems very reasonable. Thank you!
