I went to the new Bani Halal butcher shop just opened in New Toronto Lakeshore Village. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Best prices I've seen anywhere in Toronto. I'm a chef by trade. Very excited to have a butchershop near my home. Owners must look in to below issues.1. Staff didn't wear gloves when they handle meat products. Cross contamination2. Products wasnt stored properly in display.3. Butchers hand unattended meat sitting on the prep table. Not sure how long.4. Prices wasnt clearly displayed.5. Overall place didnt look very cleaned. Considering brand new openings.This neighborhood has the potential to do great business since there isn't a butchershop nowhere near in south etobicoke. Owners should care more.

Stay away from their drivers. They don't know how to drive Om highways, straying out of the lines, slowing down on empty stretch.

It’s really concerning to me that as I was about to write a review on an incident that occurred to me today with a driver and I see NUMEROUS reviews about reckless driving. Whoever is the manager please reevaluate your correct drivers. On top of the reckless driving I noticed the left break lights are not working on your car. Enough is enough and this clearly has gone on for months. Aggressively honking at me to make a left turn into an oncoming streetcar and pedestrians is horrible driving skills. I would steer VERY clear of this company.

Customer service needs improvement, when you have one or two customers waiting don’t start chatting or call on for extra help. Was there to make a purchase didn’t need to learn about how it’s cooked and waist my time waiting to be served. Nice location all I can give this butcher shop. Yay. For Royal York MeatMarket.

Be aware those looking for halal meat. I called to confirm if the meat is hand-slaughtered and was told it is a mix of hand and machine.
